Dr. Annika Malmberg, MD

Dr. Malmberg showed up to perform an ECV on my baby when she was on her way out the door and then the next day delivered my baby safely despite it being pretty scary! She was amazing in one of my most terrifying moments. I am forever grateful and would recommend her to anyone.

Dr Malmberg is the best in her field and she loves and cares a lot for her patients!

Dr.Malmberg is supposed to be pro VBAC but even in labor when you are dilated to a 9 and everything is going great she will try to convince you a c section is safest. She is very pro surgery. Every prenatal appointment she was well aware of my plan for a VBAC. I was very disappointed at her talking to me in labor saying she doesn’t want me to do a VBAC and I need to sign papers saying I’m going against her advice. Way to flip the script. I will never use her again. Breathing through contractions she told me to sign papers for a c section.

I would recommend Dr. Malmberg to absolutely everyone. My treatment was guided and well laid out. I felt safe and in the most competent hands.

Dr Malmberg Is Amazing. I have honestly never felt more comfortable and trusted a doctor as much as her. She is honest and makes sure she tells you everything you need to know.

She was my Ob in 2016 When I was 38 and preg she was excellent. She also delivered one of my grandsons and helped with the delivery of my other one. If you want the best Dr Malmberg is. She cares and she listens, and is very good at her job.

Dr. Malmberg was my OB for my late-in-life (42 yo at delivery) son - my 5th child. I sincerely wish she could have my OB for ALL my children. She is amazing - respectful, empathetic, and feels like a true partner and advocate. She is also incredibly thorough. Also, as a significantly overweight, older mom - I can't say enough about her positive treatment of me. I know this may sound silly, but if you've been in these shoes, you know what I mean! Super highly recommend. Now sending my oldest daughter to her - to me, that's the ultimate approval =)

Dr. Malmberg is AMAZING! She is personable, friendly, and extremely dedicated to her profession and her patients. Every nurse and dr that we communicated with at St. Joe’s told us we were in the very best hands with Dr. Malmberg as our OB. Highly recommend!

Dr Malmberg was the Dr who delivered my 2 healthy & beautiful twin boys on June 27,2019 @ St Joes Med Center. She was amazing! Checked on us frequently before delivery. She had 2 Residents there to help & as soon as things went different for 1 twin (when he flipped to breech) she got in there & handled everything extremely well. She also made sure I delivered while the OR was open in case of an emergency :) I cannot explain how happy we were to have her as our delivery Dr! Her & the staff she had was amazing & Im so grateful!!!

I feel extremely lucky to be a patient of Dr. Malmberg. Even though she is probably one of the most requested ob doctors in the south end she makes you feel as if you are her only patient which is definitely not the case! She is knowledgeable, genuine, honest, and friendly. I saw her for my first pregnancy and couldn’t be happier. She really did go above and beyond to make me very comfortable and put my delivery at ease. She was very detailed and explained everything very well. Top notch doc!

I love Dr. Malmberg. I saw her throughout my pregnancy back in 2015. She has amazing bedside manner and is approachable. She really allows you to be apart of your care and explains everything so well. She delivered my sisters baby this past august too! After a long labor and induction and trying everything, the fact that Dr. Malmberg was the MD on call that day just relieved all the anxiety and stress for my family & my sister! We trusted her and we were so happy that it was her! SHE IS THE BEST

Dr. Malmberg is extremely kind and professional. She is very confident in her,answers to your questions and very knowledgeable. She is amazing. I drive 35 miles and pass up local physicians just to see her.

Can't say enough good things about Dr. Malmberg. From courteousness to the professionalism and knowledgeability- She has everything. Most of all , she keeps great concern about her patients. She made my pregnancy journey so comfortable... if I am ever having another baby, it's definitely going to be with Dr. Malmberg. I highly recommend her !!
