What can I say about Dr. Casta other than she was truly meant to be a doctor. She is very soft-spoken and extremely approachable. You feel like you’re dealing with a friend. She will do everything she can to help you. I cannot recommend her enough.

We took our child to see Dr. Casta for evaluation of femoral torsion and consistent pain after a move to the area so that we could establish care. We brought X-rays, ultrasounds and medical records from our prior orthopedist. The office itself was poorly run with rude scheduling/secretary, and a MA (or trainer-- she had both titles, and was neither proficient in either area, not taking notes or providing helpful information) that was curt. Dr. Casta's demeanor was odd for a practitioner who works with children; she was cold, unfriendly, and didn't make eye contact. Her exam took less than 30 seconds, and she didn't respond to questions-- she said that she didn't have time to respond but that we could ask her assistant. We spent three hours in her office to get her expertise, not that of an MA with an associate's degree. I blame myself for not doing better research before our visit-- she is only board certified in family medicine, not in pediatrics, orthopedics or sports medicine.
