Dr. Anneke Arellano, MD

I had been having inner ear pain and jaw pain for 2 weeks. She wouldn’t let me tell her my symptoms and came into the room telling me it was stress related, suggested that I should write with my other hand to ease tension, and that I needed to hold my son on the opposite side. I got teary because she wasn’t listening and I was so frustrated! Then she told me “You’re crying?? I think you need to work on whatever it is that’s going on at home with your husband that’s causing this stress!” And then WALKED OUT!!! I was later diagnosed by a separate doctor with an inner ear infection as well as an outer ear infection. Medicated ear drops healed me up within a couple of days!

Absolutely horrendous care. Do not ever see this provider if you want to be met with empathy and understanding. Did not ask any questions, would not let me speak, passive aggressive, and when I told her the recommendations were not successful in the past due to waitlists and insurance coverage I was told I was offensive. This woman should not be practicing medicine and is a terrible human being.

She made me feel as though my questions were ridiculous. I was put on guard by her mannerisms and tone when she started talking with me. She seemed passive-aggressive and unsupportive. I was tempted to leave mid-appointment because I was so uncomfortable. I'm not sure if she was having a bad day or just not a friendly doctor, but I will not schedule with this provider again.

By far the worst dr. visit of my life. I finally got the courage to get help for my anxiety and certainly chose the wrong Dr. I was spoken to like I was child and not listened to. Zero empathy or compassion.

Dr. Arellano took the time to thoroughly review my medical history and discuss with me the changes I should make to my medications. I appreciated the time she spent and will continue to see her as my new physician.

She made decisions without asking anything about me or my medical history, prescribed a diet without asking what I eat, told me I should 'figure out' why I'm having headaches but offered no suggestions other than diet change, and told me I was making excuses but didn't ask follow up questions to understand more about barriers. I knew very quickly that she was not worth the effort. Be careful with this one.

Personable, and well reasoned diagnosis. I think I have found a new family Physician. :)
