I saw Dr, Henneken for a follow-up examafter having had cataract surgery (by another doctor) a few months ago on my eye on which I had had previous surgery for a detached retina. I found her to be very thorough, very competent, with good communication skills. I would highly recommend her.

The entire staff, from the front desk to Dr. Hanneken, were all caring and professional. I am so thankful I ended up with such an amazing team to help me through this process. Very thorough, patient and understanding.

Dr Hennekin is very thorough, I was sent to see her regarding an inclusion on my right retina. She said it had been there quite a while and had healed all on its own. She said I was very lucky. I did not have retina detachment back when it happened.

I had a torn retina that was stll attached to the viscous. After a few laser treatments and check ups she told me that it's healed. I will be coming back for another checkup in six months. Dr. Hanneken and her staff are very nice and listen to your questions and concerns.

I have been a patient of Dr. Hanneken’s for over 20 years for retina issues. I was in her office today. She made time to see me with a full schedule. I knew when she arrived because I could hear her happy voice when she greeted everyone! She did a few surgeries for me years ago. You’ll never find a better retinal surgeon. Besides her obvious expertise, kindness, work ethic and lovely spirit, she is also a dedicated researcher and her research has been reviewed by The Wall Street Journal. She is busy every day helping people see better. I really admire her so much.

I'm very concerned about massive floaters in my eye from when I had a detached retina (which Dr. Hanneken cured, by the way). The good doctor and her staff were friendly, courteous and as always, reassuring. It looks like I'll need surgery, but I totally trust Dr Hanneken to do it. She was above and beyond when I had the detached retina.

Dr. Hanneken is always through, encouraging and never makes you feel rushed. She answers any questions and explains your tests and treatment. The staff that does the first 2 or 3 tests are friendly and explain what is going to happen. Things like bright lights flashing in you eyes. All in all a pleasant and efficient visit.

Dr. Hannekin has gone above and beyond to treat both my husband and my eyes. She is a wonderful person and an excellent doctor. She and her staff are always professional and kind. I feel so lucky to have been referred to her!

Dr. Hanneken explained in great detail the reason my optometrist recommended I see her, the possible causes of the issue, and recommended actions, including treatments and adjustments in lifestyle.
