Permanent disability from psychiatric "care"
Dr. Gilbert was one of several doctors who administered electroconvulsive "therapy" (ECT) to me decades ago at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. The "treatment" resulted in a brain injury which has left me with excruciatingly painful & debilitating health problems, permanent disability, exorbitant medical bills & finicial problems due to my inability to work. The diagnosis of brain & electrical injury incurred from the ECT was confirmed by a team of brain injury specialists using a specialized brain scan & other tests. The shock docs did not follow-up with me after electrically assaulting my brain. They really don't care what happens after you leave. Don't care that months, years, or decades of important life events, relationships, memories, skills, education, knowledge, & abilities are deleted by ECT. My husband & I were not informed of these risks. My referring psychiatrist adamantly denied my Post-ECT memory/cognitive problems were from ECT. Injure then abandon. "DO NO HARM"???
