I’ve had very good experiences with Dr Ottaka, very thorough care. But now I’m told she has “moved away”... with no advance notice to me. My case is pretty complex and I’m feeling a bit abandoned... for that reason my ratings must be a bit lower.

Dr Ottaka is an excellent internist who spends quality time with her patients. Her staff is efficient as well. I highly recommend her to anyone who is looking for an intelligent, caring physician who finds solutions to your issues.

I had a severe allergic reaction over a significant part of my body and called Dr. Ottaka's office. Dr. Ottaka told me to come see her immediately, prescribed the proper treatment and contacted a top notch immunologist on my behalf to get me an appointment as soon as possible. Her office also followed up to see how I was doing. She's an excellent doctor. She's very thorough and knowledgeable.

It is rare for a doctor to spend time with their patients these days. Dr. Ottaka spends a good amount of time, asks a lot of questions, and is happy to answer my questions. She really stands out as a doctor and I'm glad I found her.

This doctor requires visits every 3 months for prescriptions refills, and doesn't offer afternoon appointment to repeat customers. Basically, the only appointment time available is 8am. Sorry, but I cannot take a day off every 3 months. When I asked for the next appointment after 11:30 I was told there were none for over 6 months and the scheduler didn't even look at the schedule! I liked the doctor, but her staff doesn't seem to want to work with the patients.
