A Kind and Holistic Approach
I am a longtime patient of Dr. Jonas, and she’s amazing. She’s one of the few doctors I’ve met who’s willing to take the time to help me with intertwined chronic pain conditions where others would usually say “Not it!”To the reviewer who dinged her for suggesting vitamin D supplements—I wasn’t in the appointment but I can’t imagine her ever pressuring someone to take a medication or supplement. It took us months of discussion until I felt comfortable with a particular medication, and I never felt pressured. Vitamin D insufficiency is a health concern, one that many providers may not catch—it would be a disservice if she didn’t notify you, even if you order not to take action. Personally, I value that she looks at health holistically, considering things like sleep, stress management and mental health. If that’s not something you’re looking for, you probably don’t want to look for a PCP in an integrative medicine clinic.

Careless Recommendations
I was looking for a family doctor and chose Dr. Jonas based on recommendations. I visited Dr. Jonas for an annual physical and Dr. Jonas overprescribed a series of medications for minor concerns, including sleepand Vitamin D insufficiency (not even deficiency). I didn’t not have concerns with my health during the visit, yet she had still found a way to prescribe medications.
