Dr. Anna Chacon, MD

Not impressed. I engaged the doctor to diagnose & treat a foot related dermatology problem. I will summarize the reasons for this negative review starting at the beginning: 1. She did not give me a formal diagnosis, but rather casually mentioned her opinion quickly during our visit, where afterward I had no record of what the condition was called. Also, no way of directly contacting her after the paid visit.2. She insisted that I sign up for an affiliate website, which required creating an account and uploading photos, all of which I spent effort doing and then never received a reply.3. Her prescription was for a compound pharmacy where I believe there's a conflict of interest. 4. Medications didn't resolve my issue. 5. I continued to get spam from the doctor for another one of her affiliate websites: (Virtual DermShop)All of this feels like a doctor who's highly profit motivated, not a patient-centered one who follows the 'Hippocratic Oath'.

I met with this doctor online. She was late to the appointment (no explanation), dismissive, not sure about her diagnosis, and irresponsible (she said she will give me prescription and I'll receive a text message soon, but I didn't receive it after 24 hours despite of multiple text messages). During the 24 hours, my symptoms were getting worse and my face was swollen. I eventually saw another doctor and got my prescription immediately. She sent the prescription at the 26th hour after the appointment. At the time, I already got my prescription from the other doctor.Avoid, if you have any other options. I gave one star because I cannot give a 0.

I feel like I found a rare gem. Dr. Chacon’s bedside manner is excellent. She does not talk down to the patient. She explains all aspects in detail. She is not rushed. She makes you feel she has all the time in the world for you. Unlike all other dermatologists I have seen in Miami, she does not try to sell you fillers, etc. If you ask, she will speak to you about them in detail. I liked that she explained different options for the procedure and the possible outcomes and we decided together which course to take.Most importantly, I have been very happy with my results. I had an extremely difficult removal that needed to be done. It wasn’t raised which would have been easier, it was deep. It was in a very prominent area - right in the middle of my forehead. Dr. Chacon did an excellent job. It is healing very nicely. I have waited to have it removed because I haven’t trusted anyone enough up to now. I put my trust in Dr. Chacon and she performed very skillfully

Total waste of time. Wouldn't recommend wasting your money.

This is the first time to leave a review message. I went with three companies on my skin. After taking the medicine it went away. I highly recommend her as she is really great and the cost for the visit was also very reasonable. Thank you

Dr Anna spoke with me twice in one day (night, actually, off hours) because I had additional questions. She is very busy but did not rush me. And she genuinely cared to offer the right advice tailored to the unique patient. Great experience. If she were local I would be popping in more often. :)

Utilized Dr. Chacon thru Dermatologist On Call online and had an excellent experience. She was very thorough describing my condition and provided me a comprehensive plan to manage it. She was very responsive to my follow up questions as well. I will utilize her services again and recommend her to anyone who needs to see a Dermatologist.

I’ve been struggling with adult acne for years. A friend highly recommended I make an appointment to see Dr. Anna Chacon. Not only did she clear my acne within 6 weeks, but she took the time to answer all my questions/concerns, which I really appreciated. Once my acne cleared, I went back to see her for neurotoxins. I was so happy with the results. No pain, No bruising and her prices are reasonable. She is also responsive and kind

I definitely would not recommend this doctor. She was very dismissive and rude. I should have gone with my gutt and go back to Dr. Bullard

I'd leave no stars if it was possible. Her appointment was very rushed. No empathy. Quick to dismiss any concerns a patient has, which is very dangerous. My last doctor never took any chances, and removed any moles that looked even remotely like a melanoma. And mine definitely looks very suspicious. She was MUCH more interested in pushing for a $305 treatment, performed by her, to remove 2 moles. By the way, as someone who's worked with marketing companies, I'm fully aware that you can hire firms to leave 5 star reviews to compensate for bad reviews. You can also just ask friends and family.

My daughter and I had visited her twice and she never used the mask properly. Second, my daughter reacted to one of the products she recommended, we came back and told her the story about allergies my daughter had in the past with acne products. She did not get in-depth about the ingredient causing the allergy despite we explained. She decided to change the generic product to the brand which did not make sense to me as it has more concentration of the ingredient I was concerned. She also gave us some samples that my daughter tried before buying the prescription. After using a little bit of amount my daughter reacted very badly and was sick for more than three days. I realized this sample also had the ingredient I was concern about. I don't understand how a Doctor could keep recommending the same active ingredient in more concentration when the patient has sensitive skin. Even worst how a Doctor is generous with samples without verifying if they are suitable for the patient

Words cannot express how much Dr. Chacon has helped me with my hair loss. I went from losing hair every time I combed my hair to now needing to comb my eyebrows! My improvement was so dramatic, that I have no use for my weave and only use extensions. She will be my dermatologist for life and I am referring all my girls and family to her. She is super professional and understood my problem.

I went to Dr Chacon since she has an interest in ethnic skin / skin of color. I left feeling very confident in her skills and trust that she is at the top of her specialty regarding black, Hispanic, and Asian skin. I felt as though she truly cares about her patients and it shows. She puts her best foot forward and listens to your concerns. She also allows patients to participate in their care by taking into account their suggestions. I am excited for my followup visit in a couple months and have recommended my entire friends and family to her as well.

She was super chill and overall a great doctor. I have had a lot of pain because of my acne and I'm now on a treatment with a clear path for me and my face. It was hard to find someone who can take care and understand my skin. She took the time to get to know me and made me feel comfortable regarding my best options. Thank you Anna, you rock.

Dr. Chacon is amazing I’m so glad I found her. She is a wonderful young professional and the world needs more doctors like her. She goes above and beyond for every visit no matter how small of an issue it may be for.
