Thorough and compassionate.
I’ve been a patient of Dr Piscitelli for over 30 years, general medicine primarily. In stressful times, when my husband was very sick she was right there for me. Consoling me even from her home. She goes above & beyond; very professional, although I never felt rushed. I say this in a most positive way; she’s like the old time docs who look at the whole person with compassion and professional care.I have the utmost respect for her as both a physician and as a warm, caring person. She is a model for that white coat. Cheers, Dr. P.

Excellent provider
Excellent provider! Have had no problems with getting labs done, appointments with her, and her staff has always been respectful in registering me and getting me into an exam room. She has always been thorough with her exam and reviews lab results with me making suggestions for improving my health-related practices. Have recommended her to others who are looking for a local provider.

Difficult to deal with
Made apt with lab and apt with her for refills of prescription. She refused me an apt with lab until after I had a visit with her. Gave her 3 chances but her attitude is not one that I like to see in my Dr.

Find Dr. P to be very through. She takes the time to drill down on the issue. She’s smart and to the point. She listens and gives straight forward, no nonsense answers. She is not a pill dispenser. Her office has been very responsive to called in concerns. Front office staff could work on their softer side patient interaction skills. Guess they are just busy.

In good health in Venice, FL – Jan 25, 2019
×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. Piscitelli?
Dr. Piscitelli was easy to work with but her nurse (LPN) was rude and very unfriendly. Also concerned doctor is not updating her practice with an EMR (electronic medical record) and said she would just continue to pay the fine for not having an EMR. Paper charts are a thing of the past. Additionally, there was a concern about a procedure and contamination of instruments.

I was recommended to Dr. Piscitelli by a neighbor when we moved to Englewood. I have a 90 + year old mother whom Dr. Piscitelli also sees. I feel she is very thorough and patient. I have recommended her in the past and would continue to do so. She also sees her own patients in the hospital which is a real plus for us.
