I consider Dr. Shah to be an excellent physician. He carefully listens and asks appropriate questions. Having been a nurse for many years i feel comfortable with his explainations, and trust and respect his decisions. I have my family seeing him now which is very reassuring. I highly recommend Dr. Shah.

My husband and I have been fortunate to have Dr Shah as our primary doctor for many years now. I am an experienced RN who recognizes the fine quality care Dr Shah provides. He is responsive to concerns and demonstrates knowlege, skill and compassion at all times . He guided us to a successful outcome when my husband struggled with a debilitating neurological disease complicated by a stroke. I cannot say enough good things about this extraordinary physician. This doctor is not a doctor at all! He is extremely inappropriate and very rude. I told my primary doctor and the nurses I don't ever want to see him again. I had to see him because there was nobody else available and I had a uti. In my chart it stated I was prone to them from childhood and he had the nerve to ask me if I had been sleeping around. I told him no and outside strip mean appropriate heat rolled his eyes and smirked.

Been seeing Dr. Shah for the last 8 years. He's diagnosed shingles, vestibular dizziness and kept up with prescriptions and tests. He's straightforward and I trust him completely. He is the perfect internist for me.

Went to the hospital after seeing a specialist as recommended by my PCP. Dr. Shah was on call and I got right into the ER because of a lofe threatening clot. Dr. Shah and his interns asked me what happened over a dozen times, and when offered a possible diagnosis found in the PDR (that specifically matched me life style and experiences) he immediately shot it down. When later treated at HUP I was asked why he didn't do more/other interventions. Hematologist later confirmed my suggested dx

I don't understand why some of the great doctors in this practice would want to be associated with a doctor like this. I saw him impatient because he was on call for the practice that I use and I hope I never see him again. Spent about 3 min in my room. Didn't introduce himself, and practically had his hand on the doorknob the whole time. Never asked me one question about what landed me on the hospital. Dodged my questions, and undermined the well respected urologist (who had been in my room 2

At the time, I was seeing another physician in the practice. I had a cut, which is an emergency for me because it was at the site of my lymphedema. The practice gave me an appt with Dr. Shah. He listened to my heart and fixated on a heart murmur which no doctor before or after has ever observed. He should have given me an Rx for an anti-biotic which I always need when I get cuts to the affected area.. By the next day, I developed a severe infection and ended up in a hospital for 3 days.
