Dr. Anke Eder, MD

I saw Dr Eder today for serious pain in my hip and leg due to back issues and arthritis. My experience could not have been better. She was a great listener, very compassionate and knowledgeable. The treatment I received was spot on. She had me stay for a while after the initial treatment to see if the treatment was working. The pain was lessening and it continued to drastically reduce after I left the ER. I'm confident that the follow up care she prescribed fir the next few days will be just as effective. This is my 3rd experience with this ER. The other 2 times I accompanied friends. In all cases the care has been excellent.

I’ve seen this doctor twice at Lodi memorial for my children. The first time I saw her was with my baby who was having respiratory issues, she told me my baby was fine and to not bring her back unless she was turning blue. I went today for my daughter who had low and then high blood sugar. With the low blood sugar she was sliding her words, vomiting, and said her head felt like it was burning. I called her pediatrician and she told me to take her in. Dr. Eder made passive aggressive comments to my daughter saying why did your mommy poke you 4 times and then proceeded to tell me most parents don’t check their children’s blood sugar levels. I told her both my husband and I have blood sugar issues so I knew what to look for and I also know it puts her at risk for having issues as well. I also let her know we were at the ER because of the pediatricians recommendation. She asked me who the pediatrician was and told me it’s Saturday and pediatricians don’t answer the phone on Saturday, assuming I am lying about talking to the pediatrician. She didn’t do anything except ask my daughter some question and listen to her. It wasn’t until I called out pediatrician while I was still at the ER and let her know what was going on that Dr. Eder ran any sort of test. This doctor should not be practicing medicine and if you ever end up in her care request a different provider.
