PCP
My first visit with Dr. Kaw was great. I needed a new PCP because Dr. Rajan Gulati no longer comes into the office. Dr. Kaw was very thorough and she listens. She is patient and understanding in addition to providing recommendations about my daily vitamin intake. In my opinion the options for the best medical professionals are limited in the Mid-Hudson so when get some great options, those are the doctors we want to keep. I plan to keep her as my PCP. There are so many quacks that are biding their time for retirement. Overall, this area needs a fresh set of doctors and I think Dr. Kaw is a direct representation of what is to come.

The worst
Dr Kaw continuously brushes off important issues She leaves you waiting for over an hour. She has you come to her office to pick up lab work and her office is locked and closed and the time she said to come and she has my records locked Do not waste your time

The best PCP!!
Please don’t believe the negative reviews. Dr. Kaw is an amazing physician who spent a long time with me during my appointment and addressed all of my concerns. She is so kind and intelligent. She treated me as a whole person rather than just my conditions. I will definitely be going back to her again. Dr. Kaw is great!!

Does not listen or help
I had recently switched my PCP’s in hopes I could get some answers. Upon my first couple visits she schedules all these test and wants me to get an EKG and MRI. So I did and she never discussed the results of either test. Talked to me like I knew what they said. I had a follow up with her and her nurse called to schedule an appointment so she can discuss lab results. I already had an appointment scheduled, thyme asked why I canceled the MRI which I did not, and I had to tell her they completed it although I freaked out. Then at the follow up again no discussion of the results. Then she didn’t even acknowledge the issues I wrote down for her. When I mentioned a certain problem she asked me what I wanted her to do??? I told her I don’t know I don’t work in the medical field, and got up and left. All this and not even mentioning the long wait times!
