Dr. Anit Patel, MD

At my age (late 50's) I have seen plenty of doctors. This one is on the list of worst. He does not listen, is rude, and should retire immediately. Do your self a favor and seek another doctor who will be interested in your concerns. FYI I did see him three times so this was not a one and done experience.

Dr Patel was uncaring and dismissive of my complex lung disease. He was brusque and annoyed answering questions. His entire office staff was also rude and it seemed like an unhealthy office culture.

I found Dr. Patel lacking in concern and follow-thru for my illness which was finally diagnosed as lung cancer in January, 2018. Although he received notices from hospital doctors that there was a growth in my lungs in July, 2017, and November, 2017, when I was hospitalized for pneumonia and pleurisy, he failed to react. When I finally confronted him with my concerns and asked that he review the CT scans, I was able to convince him to have a needle biopsy which showed the cancer was malignant.
