I got absolutely no answers and received no tests
Dr. Raman was nice, but provided me with no answers whatsoever. I’m so tired of going to a doctor and being told there’s nothing wrong with me. When I’ve had throat tightness and a popping sensation popping every time I swallow for the last 6 months (and intermittently for 2 years), I don’t want to hear that I should wait it out for another 3 months and come in at that time. There was no testing done, and he told me I should make sure not to eat foods after 9pm, despite my symptoms not being even remotely aligned with reflux . The internet has suggested that my symptoms are aligned with hyoid bone syndrome. I will be seeing someone else to confirm. Three stars because he clearly means well and is relatively new to the field so I hope he’ll learn to take people seriously.
