WHAT GIVES A DOCTOR THE RIGHT TO MAKE PATIENTS WAIT FOR VERY LONG PERIODS? My primary care referred me to Dr. Swami. I called for an appointment and they asked me to call back, because he was out of the office on vacation. That was a signal I should of paid attention to. I called back and was scheduled five weeks later. I got a call the day before my appointment, reminding me and asking me to show up at the scheduled time, not before so that I do not wait for the doctor. I showed up on time, was pushed into a room, and left there. After half an hour I heard the doctor go into another exam room and start with another patient. I got up and walked to the front desk and told the receptionist that making someone wait a half hour and then hear the doctor go to another patient is ridiculous. I asked that they call me when the doctor is able to honor my appointment time.

Excellent communication skills

Dr. Swami is very personable, and willing to spend time with me to explain the treatments. I developed dry eyes 10 years after Lasik procedure. Dr. Swami tried different eye drops, ointments and eye plugs to help relieve the pain. My eyes feel much better now. He also gave advice to my son who is interested to study medicine in college. I don't feel rushed at all and can get all my questions answered. His staffs are very friendly and making appointment is very easy. Highly recommend!
