Dr. Angie Wen, MD

Dr. Angie Wen was wonderful. She was very friendly, explained everything, and you can tell she really cared about her patients. However, I will NEVER come back to Dr. Wen because of her intern. Dr. Wen's intern has no people skills and left me in TEARS after my appointment. I visited Dr. Wen for a routine check up; I see a cornea specialist every 6 months. Her intern comes in and says, "I assume you're here for a surgery consultation given your OPAQUE eye." I have never met a ruder person!!! I am never coming back just because of his attitude.

Found her uncommunicative, unwilling to explain procedures. Probably poor surgeon, since there was long time in healing compared to similar operation in other eye.

I was extremely satisfied by my experience with Dr. Wen. I woke up with an itchy/painful, red eye and she was able to see me immediately and accurately diagnosed and treated me. She stuck me as quite knowledgable and put me immediately at ease. I would recommend her to anyone.

My LASIK surgery done by Dr. Wen was a terrible experience. After the LASIK procedure, I have had lots of pain and suffering, including vision problem specially at night, dry eyes, excessive expenses for the follow up, and depression. During a year of follow up she did nothing effective for me. So I saw two other ophthalmologists. Unfortunately before I decided to have LASIK, Dr. Wen did not tell me the truth about the risks of the surgery, specifically based on my eye condition before the LASIK

Every time I have seen Dr. Wen, I have been made to wait. On my most recent visit, I was shown into an office, a nurse did some quick tests, left, and I sat. No one felt they needed to give me an e.t.a., no one felt they needed to check in with me, no one felt they needed to explain or apologize...an hour later I walked out. Haven't heard from the office since--evidently Dr. Wen doesn't care much about my health. I feel very strongly that this is unprofessional and unacceptable.
