While Dr.Bell is knowledgeable and friendly, I wouldn’t recommend, if you’re fat. Dr.Bell diagnosed me with PCOS w/out testing then put me on metformin, which lowered my blood sugar to the point of me fainting, repeatedly. 7 years later, I finally got a diagnosis of endometriosis. It only takes an ultrasound to check for PCOS. I was repeatedly told if I lost weight, my pain would go away. Now, I’m in my 30s and struggling with fertility.

Dr. Bell performed my hysterectomy in 2009 due to fibroid tumors. I was told Dr. Bell rushed through my surgery that day to get to her daughter's recital. I woke up in recovery with cramps due to internal bleeding and was sent back to surgery 7 hours later after losing two blood units and having a blood transfusion. Four surgeons assisted in helping save my life. I woke up in ICU on a respirator. She promised to have my stomach repaired due to the surgery but never would respond to my calls and letters. The traumatic experience and terrible scars have caused me anxiety and depression. I used to be proud of my body, but now my stomach is a mess, and it hurts and itches when my pants rub against it because it was stapled closed, which left a massive scar from under my bra line down. I can't believe how she can forget or ignore what she did to me in 2009. My husband was diagnosed with cancer a few months later, so pursuing filing my case in court wasn't a priority at that time.

Dr. Bell is in a league of her own! She is an excellent doctor who makes you feel like an equal who just happens to need her expertise. She respected my time, concerns, and feelings in a friend-like way rather than a doctor whose intelligence, importance, and ability was above me. I highly recommend Dr. Bell.
