Dr. Angel Tafur, MD

My rating of Dr. Angel Tafur falls somewhere between very poor and terrible. His nose being continually on his computer screen, I never had the feeling he was paying any attention to what I had to say other than when he sharply and critically disagreed. His attitude was; even though I had lived and worked in this body for 80 years, I knew nothing about how my body acted or reacted. Everything I did or said was immediately wrong. Any idea I came up with was no good. He completely gave up on the two spacific issues I was concerned with. To him the blood pressure records I kept, and which every other medical professional I had anything to do with over the years was impressed with, were no good! Each of the four appointments I had with him became less and less productive and more & more disappointing. His demeanor displays a very high regard for himself and a very low regard for his customer. My advice; find another Doctor.

Father released from hospital on Thursday afternoon with stage IV cancer and barely able to care for himself. Mother falls and breaks her arm on Friday. Friday evening I call the "on call number" and ask his service to contact the on call provider for a home health aid referral to get a home care provider for my parents, and his service said that he (Dr. Tafur) said, "it's the weekend, I can't do anything until Monday." A referral takes maybe a minute. Are you kidding? Finding a new provider and a lawyer to incentivize.

With the help of Dr. Tafur, his wife and nurse practitioner Lauren, and his friendly staff, the past 8 years have brought positive changes to my overall lifestyle. Thanks to him, I've maintained optimal health and a better understanding of how to manage my chronic diseases. I appreciate his honesty when confronting me with important information and his ability to communicate it to me in a way I will understand. Every time I have a medical issue, he is able to figure out the root cause and how to correct it in the most efficient way possible. His reliability also led me to bring other family members to his office when they are feeling under the weather. I highly recommend his professional advice when seeking medical care!

I was recently treated by Dr. Tafur and found him to be very rude.

I was a patient of Dr? !Tafur and was sick with a fever, and had been to Ocala emergency the day before and told I had a non corona virus virus . I tried to make an appointment as a follow up. I was told that since it was a virus, Dr. ? Tafur wouldn’t see me because there was no treatment for a virus. I actually had bronchitis, diagnosed at urgent care , but if I had SEEN Dr? Tafur earlier I wouldn’t have gotten as sick as I did. he didn’t want to see me because he thought I had corona virus Horrible doctor !

Unemotional, no smile, not" comfortably" friendly. Focused on only a small part of my medical history. Will NOT return

The worst Doctor's I have ever seen. Totally unprofessional, severely lacks knowledge of insurance procedures. Totally doesn't follow up when you explain time after time how my private insurance and Medicare works together.

I have been cared for by Doctor Tafur for over 12 years. He and his staff are the most efficient and professional I have used in my entire 81 years. They care!!!

The worst experience in the world to me and Mom

We are from Ohio on 3 months vacation. We could not have found a better Doctor in a hundred years. He is dedicated and spends time with you and explains everythingn he wants you to do to improve your health. His staff is very curteyes and carrying. We would highly recommend Dr. Tafur.
