Dr. Angel Rivera-Soto, MD

Took over for Dr. Merritt semi retiring and moving to a different clinic however he is a terrible doctor multiple issues over the past year, given a chance but now I’ve had it. I had to start seeing multiple doctors. Afraid to write any controlled substance prescriptions.Due to arthritis and back fusion Basic Tylenol3 1 pill a day. I now have to see pain management doctor for something so basic. I go in a month early for refills due to work schedule and was told refills will be submitted when the current medication runs out yet no refills were ever called in. I call back a month later and they lost urine sample for control medication testosterone, yet they can’t even refill any non-regulated medication, was told I need to come in again yet now I can’t due to work schedule. Over the past year, saw another doctor in the same clinic when he was unavailable and didn’t have any issues getting medications even the ones he refused to refill, this doctor is a joke. Don’t waste your time.

Excellent and thorough doctor, but also very caring and personable.

Dr. Rivera is great. He really listens to you. He is proactive in getting referrals approved (which are required by my insurance). I highly recommend him if you are looking for a great doctor who really cares about his patients. His medical assistant is always available and responds quickly to messages. Great team.

Dr. Angel Rivera saw me at St. Elizabeth Urgent Care in Cypress, TX (Houston). I was very pleased with the consultation. Dr. Rivera took the time to listen to my problem and to ask me a lot of questions, about my cyst and about a few other problems, such as hair loss. I'm used to the standard doctor visit, 15 minutes and you're out of there. This wasn't the case with Dr. Rivera-Soto. I'd like to thank him for being like a good old-fashioned doctor - very knowledgeable, experienced, kind, and interested in me as a human being.

I have been using Dr. Rivera for a few years and he has always been great very professional, personable, and addresses all concerns on the spot. I would highly recommend him to anyone who's looking for a doctor in our area.

From the front desk to the back, I thought everything was very well organized. Dr. Rivera was very straight forward with me and explained the recommendations which he had for me and why. I cant ask for any more then that!

Refused to see anymore because I said an office asst was being rude..without bothering to ask me himself .dr ding a manager to lure me back into the clinic and still me way too long.i needed my blood panel for a specialist.i have severe medical issues.he left me hanging in the middle of treatment without a referral for another doctor and refusing to allow me a blood panel last visit rven though the kab IS RIGHT THERE

Dr. Rivera was very helpful in finding out my initial problem, he was very professional and understanding as well. I definitely recommend him to everyone I can!

He is a really good doctor. I can't grasp the amount of knowledge they have, because all doctors know much more. But some doctors can make you feel like your concerns are not valid. Dr.Rivera-Soto is not like that, he listens carefully and he hears. Twice he recommended a simple solutions that worked fast. I wish the other reviewers would not write a bad review to the clinic under this particular doctor. The bureaucracy of medical facilities is ridiculous, but have nothing to do with doctors.

Do not waste your time & money! I made a new pt appt at the beginning of the week 1st thing Mon morning and left without any answers. I was told that I needed to email my previous medical records to them which I did promptly 1 hour after my appt. I was told they would be reviewed that day and I would be contacted later that day or the next day. My records have still not been reviewed and I keep being promised I will be contacted the next day. I am now unable to come back in due to my work sched

Dr Rivera is one of the best doctors I ever had. He was attentive to every problem I had. And I have a lot of issues. I would still be with him, but my insurance changed, so I could no longer see him. I will and have recommended him. Very hard heard working and professional. Never in my life, have I had a more caring doctor.

I'm a new patient,I heard of Dr.Rivera through a family member.The doctor was good I felt like he listened and cared but when it comes to trying to get a new prescription or calling to get test results no one returns calls.I've been waiting to get mine and still waiting and no one has still called me back.It's ridiculous.Don't come here.He definitely needs better help.
