This Dr. billed as a consult instead of an ER visit (we were told to go to the ER, entered through ER and were treated within the ER.) which caused an insurance nightmare. Additionally, this Dr. treated while being out of network without our knowledge. One of the two of these would have been fine (according to insurance), but both issues combined have caused our out of pocket expenses to go through the roof and not be applied to our deductible.
