Dr. Welstead is a good, caring Doctor
Dr. Welstead is competent and caring. He will present options and let me make the choices. I feel like I am still in control of my care.Unfortunately, he works for a huge company that requires their Doctors to spend minimal time with patients and will not allow them to deviate much from the appointment's pupose (e.g., At a diabetes checkup Methodist doesn't want you to discuss the cyst on your shoulder.)The staff has always been responsive, kind and knowledgeable.

Not neurodivergent understanding
I had been with my previous doctor for more than 18 years. I'm AuADHD so I present just like someone with that particular combination. My doctor left to concierge care so I needed a new GP. I also have a chronic pain condition. I've been on the same meds and have been well controlled on them for more than 15 years with zero requests for increase and no early refill requests. This doctor wanted to change my meds the first time I met him. He then accused me of dependency. When I quit opiates cold turkey with zero symptoms, he then accused me of changing my story and lying. He did not even attempt to consider this could be due to neurodivergence. I was shamed by him and ended up crying in my car. I have NEVER been treated so terribly. He would be much better suited to a career that does not need compassion.
