Misplaced cervical epidural
He laid me on left side. They moved me into the front of the line the next day after seeing Tim Adamson, who referred me to get this Epidural from Dr. Sumich. Front of the line because I had private insurance that would pay four to $5000 for one of these crazy shots. These doctors will never do these risky shots on any of their other colleagues. I find out later they run from getting shots because they know the risk that they are that’s why they’ve never been approved by the FDA and until we do it, Mass wants to against these type of groups, not ever change run from this person does more shots than anybody in town like one out of 100. That’s all it takes to start building up his adhesive Arachnoiditis clients!! 14 years from the nerves are firing nonstop very difficult to treat and both these doctors blew me up three times each back in 2012 When I told him how much I was suffering, they could care less neither one owned up. horrible doctors and people run run run.!!!

During the initial consultation with Dr Sumich, he went over my CT scan results and proposed a plan of treatment. He was pleasant and personable. My injection at a later date was made quick and pleasant. The staff, the assistant, and Dr Sumich himself were punctual and everything was done on time. An excellent experience overall!

Dr. Sumich is an excellent physician!
Dr. Sumich of Carolina Neurosurgery & Spine Associates is an excellent physician. He takes the time to explain complex problems and procedures in great detail, but in terms easily understood by the ordinary patient. His demeanor is pleasant and relaxed which carries over to his patient and leads to their calm and reassurance.

Highly Recommend Dr. Sumich
Dr. Sumich is a highly skilled physician with a warm and engaging personality. I sustained two vertebrae compression fractures within a short period of time & was referred to Dr. Sumich for a kyphoplasty consult. He patiently explained the procedure, answered all my questions, & put me at ease. The procedure was 100% successful with minimal downtime. I very highly recommend this doctor & practice!

Intracept Procedure
I have had intermittent back pain since 1975, which became chronic after a bad fall in 2004. I have been in pain around the clock since then and it has had a major effect on my quality of life. I met Dr Sumich yesterday and really liked him. He is one of a few physicians that perform this procedure and he felt I was an excellent candidate. CNSA and Relievant are teaming up to get this approved by insurance and if approved I have the first chance for lasting relief. It would be a total game changer and I really liked Dr Sumich, he was great!!!
