Poor Initial Impression
I met Dr. Stone today for a consultation on an endoscopy & colonoscopy. Maybe it was just a bad day for him, but he seemed a bit churlish, and frankly somewhat crass in our discussion about my current health, my health history, and the best way to proceed. I initially gave the go-ahead, in great measure to his incredibly nice, and compassionate nurse, Phyllis. But as the procedure will be taking place away from the practice, and in a hospital, I think the best course of action is to cancel, and have the procedure performed by someone a bit more even-keeled and responsible. Lots of Gatroenterologists out there, and a far sight nicer (and probably more competent too).

Dr Andrew Stone has been my Doctor for years . He is one of the best Doctors I have ever had . He goes above and beyond his call of duty as a Doctor , and really cares how his patients are doing . I trust this Doctor with my life. If he should ever move away from this area, I would travel anywhere in the United States to keep him as my Doctor. He is a lifesaver. And I am truly blessed to be under his care... Sincerely Karen Borges..

He could possibly be a good doctor, but a 4 hour wait for a colonoscopy is ridiculous. He didn't 't seem to understand how awful a person feels after 36 + hours of no food and no sleep. When the test was finished they couldn't t wait to get rid of me because they were supposed to be done for the day.

The advertised wait time is very misleading. I waited an hour to see the doctor for five minutes!! Dr. Stone seemed surprised that I was irritated as if my time wasn't valuable. They overbook constantly. This is my third visit where I waited well over 30 minutes to see him. I'm done.
