Dr. Andrew Saffer, DPM

Saw Dr Saffer on Wednesday, doctor said MRI was needed before treatment could be started, said admin at front desk would be able to help set up MRI, said he would then call me within a week to discuss the results. 30 seconds later, front desk admin said they can do absolutely nothing to help with the MRI, said it would take 3 days for them to even get the script for the MRI sent out due to 'waiting for doctors notes'. Reality is that MRIs are taking 3 to 4 weeks to schedule and cannot be scheduled until script is received. Issue 1 - Roper and MUSC are able to send script for MRI instantly while patient is still in the exam room not 3 days later due to internal office paperwork.Issue 2 - Doctor seems to be unaware of how long it takes in reality to get an MRI and unaware of what his front desk is capable of. Issue 3 - My treatment is delayed unnecessarily since office refuses to send in script until doctors notes are done, in contrast to Roper and MUSC.

I found myself with a case of toenail fungus. Dr. Saffer was great in addressing the problem. Reassured me that it wasn't an advanced case at all and no need to worry. Within a couple of minutes, he took of it painlessly and efficiently. I highly recommend Dr. Saffer for any foot problem.

I used Dr Saffer 2 or 3 times this year and was very happy with the results. He is extremely personable, never rushes, you think he has all the time in the world, was gentle with my feet, very pleasant office and exam room. My feet have been much better after seeing him. Other employees were also friendly and efficient.

As always, the staff is helpful and friendly. Have recommended Dr. Saffer to others and all have been very satisfied.

Being going to Dr. Saffer for 14 years or so. He is great at his job but is also very good at keeping pain to a minimum when injecting or cutting. He also has a friendly staff who are very helpful. I highly recommend them!

Dr. Saffer was referred by my primary care doctor for a heel spur. He and his staff are so caring. He gave me cortisone injections in my heel. I hate shots, but he went to great lengths to make sure I did not feel the injection. The first heel spur he treated is still gone two years later.
