He's terrific.
I just had emergency surgery with Dr. Luckey. He's terrific. I couldn't have been in better hands. All the staff at Adventist hospital think very highly of him. I was so lucky to get Dr. Luckey.

Dr Luckey seems like a caring surgeon but his office secretary does not care at all about his patients even if they have postoperative complications. His secretary will try to get rid of his patients who encounter postoperative complications. It is better to go to a surgeon who has caring office secretary that can have compassion to his patients and can direct them to be seen by the surgeon who did their surgery instead of getting rid of them.

Dr. Andrew Luckey is an incredible surgeon! I was referred to him for my gallbladder removal surgery. When I first saw him for a consultation, he was incredibly kind and incredibly thorough! He went over every bit of the procedure and discussed all risks involved. When I decided to move ahead with the surgery, he was VERY cautious because I had a pulmonary embolism and DVT just 6 months prior. He worked with all of my other doctors in order to ensure I had the safest surgery and recovery possible. He took every precaution available and so when I went into surgery, I felt 100% confident in him and his abilities. I had a successful surgery and I am recovering just as I should be. He has been just as amazing post surgery, in making sure I am healing. If you’re looking for a general surgeon, Dr. Luckey is your man! Not only is he incredibly kind, compassionate and personable, I also felt completely confident in his abilities as a surgeon. I am so thankful for Dr. Luckey!

Dr. Luckey is an amazing surgeon! My 18 year old daughter needed her gallbladder out immediately and Dr. Luckey came to see her first thing in the morning to explain everything to her. He made us feel very comfortable. In the few days after her surgery, Dr. Luckey was at her bedside every day between 9 -10 am to check on her. She didn’t have to wait all day for him to check on her. If you need a surgeon, I highly recommended Dr. Luckey!

Dr. Luckey has performed 2 sep. surgeries (breast lumpectomies, both golf ball size) on my daughter, 2 years apart. I trust him w/ my daughters life 100%. His bedside manner is fantastic, he is kind and listens. We weren't sure where to cut (for cosmetic reasons and my daughter is young) and he talked to us about it, gave us his personal opinion and still was willing to cut where we wanted. We went with his opinion. His staff is super also! You can worry about you, and not your DR. with him
