Dr. Lowy was referred to me by my oncologist as one of a few surgeons in the US who has demonstrated experience in treating my rare cancer (Neuro Endocrine). He performed surgery and was able to remove the tumor and areas where the cancer had metastasized. I was relatively pain free and recovered quickly under his team's care. UCSD Moores Cancer Center is excellent and Dr. Lowy is easy to speak with and has a great patient connection.

I have great admiration for Dr. Lowy. He treated me for appendix cancer and listened to and addressed every concern I had prior to surgery. I was so surprised when I awoke from surgery with a clear head and a low pain level. My experience with UCSD was far better than I expected.
