Never seen!
My Mother has been living at Brightview South River for 1.5 years. They contract with Bayada for physicians and Nurse Practitioners. Dr. Lazris is listed as her Primary Physician, but he has NEVER SEEN HER IN-PERSON! The NP's do ALL patient care, and are only onsite 2-3 days each week, unless a patient has a new condition that warrants more frequent visits, A.K.A. MEDICARE PART A.How can an M.D. make medical diagnoses or DISCONTINUE medications for a person they've NEVER MET?!!!? My Mother is 88 years old and has MANY complicated chronic conditions. One triggers another and that makes diagnosis very difficult.I empathize with the NP's doing all of the work, but have no trust or confidence in this Dr's skills or competency.

Excellent and caring physician. Well versed in all the latest research but grounded in a non-interventionist philosophy. Aging is not a disease to Dr Lazris but it’s trials can be managed.

Outstanding and caring physician. Spends a half hour with patients. Not one to charge down multiple test road until he fully understands one's concerns. Measured, kind, caring and highly skilled. Responsive to emails within 24 hour which is a wonderful thing.
