Traumatic
My husband had nocturnal incontinence which can be caused by chronic constipation or a UTI. Dr Krueger assumed it was a blockage requiring surgery and never tested for a UTI even when I requested it. He inserted a catheter with no cleaning instructions even though I asked. At the 3 week visit Dr Kruger turned us over to two assistants for catheter removal and a voiding test. 'Have you ever done this before?' one asked the other. No lidocaine, just removal and aggressively pumping water into him causing excruciating pain. He said, 'I think I'm going to pass out'. They did nothing. I got wet paper towels for his face. They then had him walk 6 feet to a mobile urinal peeing all over the floor. Then they told him he failed the voiding test and reinserted the catheter. 6 days later he was admitted to the hospital with sepsis which is life threatening. I was with him the entire time. Our Advent Hospital experience on the other hand was excellent.

Horrific experience
I was supposed to get an exam of my bladder. Two medical assistants who were inexperienced pumped water into my bladder. It was extremely painful and I almost passed out. Later, it was revealed that I had a UTI and sepsis. Dr. Krueger was not in the room supervising the procedure. No test was done before the procedure to determine if I had a UTI.

Not impressed with Dr. Krueger at all. I do not recommend him at all. He is supposed to be the doctor and instead in a follow up, he says it's up to me to decide what I want to do for treatment, etc. Really??? I do not trust his decisions. First they say I have a kidney stone, then he says he is not sure but something is there. A good doctor knows exactly.....

There was very poor decision making ,when they cancelled prostate biopsies . Evidently the possibility of cancer is not important to this office. Every man that goes here will be talked into a prostate biopsy , whether they need it or not . A biopsy does permanent damage to the prostate and causes the need for additional treatments for urine blockage from urethral damage from the biopsy needles .

He is my post cancer and kidney stone caregiver. He also treats my elderly mother. He is attentive, thorough, and gentle with procedures. Both of us were referred to him by other physicians who spoke highly of his qualifications . He treats us as intelligent adults, thoroughly discussing our needs and options. I recommend him highly.

Dr. Krueger is not a doctor that I can recommend to anyone. He is surgical procedure only and does not care about you after the procedure. He will not see you in the office is you have problems....never has he checked a urine specimen...even after surgery. I ended up with a severe UTI and it cultured out as a STAPH bacteria. Not one mention of this on my return visit and not one type of urine specimen taken. What kind of a Urologist does not do this?
