In April 2023, Dr. Healy performed major surgery on my back. The result was beyond my expectation. He performed the 10 hour surgery magnificently. I am now 100% pain free. His follow up has been the best. I owe him everything for giving me my life back. A huge THANK YOU!

Dr. Healy spent lots of time with me, explained everything clearly and answered all of my questions. He has a caring bedside manner and is an excellent surgeon. This was my first time visiting with Dr Healy. When we met he was down to earth and practical. He addressed all my concerns very professionally after we discussed my future surgery. I was relieved and appreciative of his honesty and straightforward approach to my issues and concerns. Hopefully this will be helpful for anyone looking for a back specialist. I had an excellent experience and office visit with Dr. Healy. I felt he was very knowledgeable and most importantly honest. He listened & showed compassion regarding my back & neck degenerated discs/osteoarthritis. Although qualified, he wanted to refer me to a specialist who had more experience with Lumbar artificial disc replacement to provide the best possible outcome. I’m relatively young and a fusion would not be the best option. Among other things, his specialization in this procedure is primarily in this cervical spine and will continue to treat me for my neck issues. CNSA is one of the largest neurosurgery clinics in the region with a network of specialists. I’ve had a positive experience with this group.

Dr. Healy provided the kind of consultation that I had thought was no longer possible. He had prepared for the appointment, was knowledgeable and focused on my condition and medical history, listened, explained everything in term’s that I could understand, never hurried, was personable and professional, suggested the most reasonable treatment, and expressed a sincere interest in following through with my treatment. I have consulted with four other highly regarded spinal surgeons for my complicated degenerative spinal condition and can honestly say, he is the best. The others failed in one or more of these attributes and suggested treatments that either they didn’t explain or were too extreme or didn’t seem to address my specific condition.
