Dr. Andrew Elliott, MD

Dr. Elliott is fantastic! He is an extremely knowledgable, experienced and skilled surgeon who is also compassionate and caring. I traveled from out of state to have him perform a very complicated operation on my foot and ankle. I am thrilled with the results and grateful that he was willing to take on my difficult case that other surgeons wouldn’t. I highly recommend Dr. Elliott!

The doctor is incompetent I had bunion surgery and I have flat feet And after surgery I asked him if I needed orthotics and he said no. Well a few years later he recommended orthotics and you know why because he was getting a commission on the orthotics company he sent me to. Andrew Elliot has no bedside manners. You call him and he never returns your calls. It really does matter who your surgeon is and seeing and having surgery by Dr. Andrew Elliot was one of the biggest mistakes I made in my life. If you’re looking for an orthopedic surgeon they are thousands in the NYC area to choose from. Don’t be fooled by his Harvard Medical degree. Please don’t even think about calling him. He’s an incompetent and an awful doctor and human being. And his office staff is nothing to brag about

I have been a patient of Dr. Elliott's for some time. I had severe ankle issues - a triple arthodesis from another doctor, torn tibular tendons and arthritis in my left ankle where it was painful to put any weight on it. Dr. Elliott took care of all of these issues for me - first by taking out some of the hardware that was making it so painful and impossible to walk and then with PRP injections for helping my body heal itself. I still have a fused ankle and will never run again, but the pain is so much better and I actually have some quality of life. He is a godsend to me.

I had a horrible experience with Dr. Elliot and his staff.

He messed up a straightforward procedure, deformed my foot and permanently disabled me. I had to seek revision surgeries elsewhere. I would never recommend Andrew Elliott. Plus he couldn’t care less. I believe he had a surgical trainee perform my surgery.

Worst surgery. He is incompetent and a liar. He misaligned the bones in my foot and ankle so badly tendons and ligaments tore, causing me permanent disability.

I had an excellent experience with Dr. Elliot. I needed surgery on my foot & met with a few doctors. The staff was very nice and professional Dr. Elliot was a pleasure. Everything went smoothly and although it wasn’t fun recovering from foot surgery, the results have been very good to date. It’s been three months since the surgery and my foot is healing beautifully. I can barely even see the scar & I am back walking easily and wearing regular shoes. they did a great job even during the pandemic. I highly recommend this doctor and his office staff.

I had a consultation with Dr. Elliott yesterday and I was totally impressed and pleased with my interactions with him. Dr Elliott reviewed my condition with me, explained my options for relief, and gave his opinion on an initial course of action (and that opinion did not involve any procedures which Dr. Elliott would be performing and thereby gaining monetarily....wow!). I left his office with the knowledge that the doctor had MY best interests at heart. What an exceptional human being is this doctor. I highly recommend Dr. Elliott to those who are experiencing ankle problems.

I had a great experience with Dr. Elliott. He operated on my foot twice. I have never had problems with his staff. I also find Dr. Elliott to be very down to earth. He took the time to explain everything to me. I will go back to him again when the need arises. I trust him so much that I am always asking him to recommend other drs for various parts of the body.

I saw Dr. Elliott for a partially torn plantar plate. He spent time listening to my symptoms and answered all of my question. He outlined all of my treatment options in great detail and was very caring. I would clearly recommend him for any type of foot or ankle injury. His qualifications are impeccable as well.

Dr. Elliott operated on both of my Achilles and did an amazing job! My scar is nearly non existent and I feel great. I really couldn’t have asked for a better experience and doctor. He spent a lot of time with me going over the procedures and various steps of the surgical process. I met many others who had the same surgery and none of them had the same post-op success and recovery.

Dr. is incompetent. Thank goodness we realized it before he operated!

Worst experience with a Dr. office that I have ever had. Office staff is the worst, especially Teisha who is uppity and rude. She lies and doesn't follow through with anything. He is completely lacking compassion or integrity.

Surreal experience even getting an appointment. Do even bother; REALLY, unless you don't want to walk again.

I had an outpatient procedure done on my foot the treatment that I received was outstanding . Dr. Elliott is extremely professional and the staff members at HSS well make you feel comfortable and welcoming from start to finish. I would come again for any other surgery and I will definitely recommend Dr. Elliott and the hospital to anyone that wants a doctor that specializes in a specific area on the body.

Staff does not answer phones or return phone calls even with complications from surgery. Was a terrible experience and still has not healed properly. Rude and unprofessional office with a terrible surgeon.
