One of the greatest doctors I've ever had. Caring, comforting, thorough, and knowledgeable. I love doctors that include me in decisions made about my own care and he's always done that. He educates without talking down to me while making sure I understand what's going on and how to get better. Most doctors could learn a lot from him.

Dr Elden is great
I just had my first appointment with Dr Elden. I was very happy with the way he explained everything, his thoroughness, and his patience with my questions. He gave me all the options and why and asked if I was ok with his plan. I appreciated that respect. The office staff was very warm and friendly as well.

Thorough and human
My hubby and I both see him. I have a complex GI problem, and he has been thorough from the start, listening carefully, and treating me like a human. He is my favorite specialist, and I have a fair few. I can also trust him to communicate fully with my primary when things come up. Thoroughly great doctor, would recommend 10/10.

Very Good Doctor
I don't understand the bad reviews! Dr Elden is one of the few doctors that I went recently who truly tried to understand what was going on. Not only a great Dr but such a great listener.

Dr. Elden is great… But
Dr. Elden is GREAT….But, if the front office staff is horrible, you can’t get to the doctor. The appointment scheduler, Natalie, is extremely rude and when you tell her you’re going to tell the doctor, she says she doesn’t care as if she knows nothing will happen. And as such, I feel it’s OK to call her out. They don’t answer their phones, they don’t answer your message on the patient portal most times. They have a terrible phone system in which you can’t leave a message. The surgical scheduler is very sweet, but she’s very limited in what she can do and once it took her two weeks to get back to me. This is part of Advent Hospital, you need to do better. You have to find a staff that’s capable of working with patients. This staff might cause a big problem one day.

Talks at you instead of listening. One of the worst features of a human being translated into a doctor. Sometimes your gut feeling is right (sorry for the pun). Won't be going back to Dr. Ego any time soon.
