My experience in the diagnosis and treatment for varicose veins at ETVC has been excellent. From the very first visit, Dr Douglass and the medical staff have been very professional, exacting in diagnosis, excellent in explaining the details of diagnosis and the planned treatment, and very, very fine in treatment. Scheduling of appointments was done per optimum timing for the required examinations, diagnostics, and subsequent treatments. No "stone was left unturned" to make sure I understood the why's and wherefores of my condition and the appropriate treatment, which was a series of 3 Schlerotherapy treatments, and the post treatment requirements for wearing compression stockings, etc. And all this was done during the Covid-19 pandemic, under strict patient and staff safety protocols. The results of treatment are very positive, and I am very pleased. I highly recommend ETVC for the treatment of varicose veins.

I had not been to Dr. Douglas' office in 12 years, but it was just as nice a visit as I recall so long ago. I only needed to make three trips to take care of one vein in my right leg. Since I have been diagnosed with venous insufficiency, I was concerned that any procedure might stir that up again and my leg would begin to swell. Fortunately that did not happen. Everyone was friendly, explaining what they were doing and the results I could expect. It was a very good experience in a very lovely area to visit.

I would recommend East Tennessee Vein Clinic to anyone with varicose or spider vein issues. Dr. Douglass and his staff treat you like a special guest in their office. Your initial appointment is not rushed. Medical treatments are presented in an easy to understand manner. Michelle, the physician assistant; Beata, the ultrasound technician; and Christy, the patient coordinator; all performed their duties with caring and friendly professionalism. After my treatments my legs feel great and they look years younger too.

I was referred to Dr. Douglass by a personal friend. I am so glad I took her recommendation. I have always hated my legs due to varicose veins and after just completing all of my treatments I am no longer ashamed of my legs. I am 100% pleased and the staff there is amazing. They were always so patient with me and explained everything in detail each and every time. I appreciate them being so great and would definitely recommend Dr. Douglass and his staff to anyone.

I saw Dr. Douglas about 18 years ago and had great results. Fast forward and I had varicose veins again and lots of spider veins. My deep veins were treated and a different way and I have had 4 spider vein treatments. By summer I should be looking and feeling great.

I was having severe swelling in my lower legs and my Dr. recommended Dr. Douglas. One look at my legs he pretty much knew what it was but for my insurance to cover the treatment he had to do a vein mapping. As it turned out he was right and I was diagnosed with lymphodema. He has a great staff and they take top notch care of you. I highly recommend them.

First of all. I was recommended by my general physician and I am so glad he did. My experience there was first class from the minute I walked in the door. The staff was very cordial and the wait time.was very minimal. My favorite music was playing throughout their office which totally relaxed me. When Dr. Douglass introduced himself I knew I had made the right decision. He explained every little detail and spent the time with me to answer all the questions I had for him. I felt like I had known him for years. Wouldn’t go anywhere else but East Tennessee Vein Clinic. I highly recommend Dr. Douglas and his staff. You won’t be disappointed.

I had suffered from painful varicose veins. Severe swelling in my legs and feet. Horrible stasis ulcers that covered most of the lower half of both legs. This went in for years. The wonderful people at East Tennessee Vein Clinic worked diligently to help me. Since the treatment I received there I have not had one single stasis ulcer and the swelling in my legs and feet is not even enough to inconvenience me. I have been a patient at ETVC for several years. Dr. Douglass initially treated my varicose veins and I’ve had amazing results. I do a yearly spider vein treatment with Michelle for upkeep and to keep my legs looking and feeling their best!
