Dr. Dold was an exceptional doctor that took the time to explain my daughter's knee issue and the necessary procedure to get her back at her passion - running! I had my rotator cuff surgery August 29th, 2 weeks after my surgery I was out of my sling, with no post op pain. NONE!!!!!!I can’t explain how but I’m told I am 15 weeks ahead of schedule as far as progress.Dr Dold is an amazing surgeon, I feel great and I have full motion and still no post op pain.I highly recommend Dr Dold to anyone having any shoulder issues.EXCELLENT SURGEON THANK YOU DR DOLD

I had bilateral labrum tears and hip impingements' that started in 2023. I came to Dr. Dold after going to a orthopedic surgeon in Dallas which told me I needed hip replacements. On MRI I had no severe OA or reasons for hip replacement but due to my age at the time, (64) this Dallas surgeon wanted to use his text book bias to pigeon hole me into getting a much larger surgery. Dr. Dold fixed my labrums of which he told me were very large requiring 4 anchors each, and impingements, and after dealing with pain for a year I was finally pain free and could get on with my life. Dr. Dold's PA, Karina is amazing! She is asset to is practice in and out of the OR. The staff is efficient and kind as well. I've been a RN for 30 years and his professional and kind approach was outstanding! He is truly one of the best surgeons I have ever met. I will be forever grateful for their care.

I am about two years out from knee surgery with Dr. Dold. My knee has been perfect since surgery but that is not the reason for leaving this review. While doctor Dold was preparing my knee before surgery while I was asleep in the operating room, he noticed a small skin lesion on the bottom of my foot. He took a photo of the lesion and showed my after surgery and suggested I should see a dermatologist. I went to the dermatologist about a week later who examined my foot and then suggested a biopsy which diagnosed me with melanoma skin cancer which was surgically removed. I am now cancer free. The dermatologist told me that he likely saved my life, as I would've never seen the lesion until it was probably too late. She couldn't believe that he had spotted this and made the diagnosis. He is a one of a kind doctor.

Dr Dold was spectacular!!! I’m in law enforcement and got injured during jiu-jitsu training. I went to a horrible sports orthopedic surgeon first in Plano that acted like a used car salesman. I read reviews and gave Dr Dold a visit and it was completely different. Dr Dold and his staff treated me with compassion and were comforting from day 1. I had the surgery (core decompression with stem cell injections) on the right hip and rehabbed in less than 4 months. Then 6 months later had my left hip surgery with the same procedures. I was off crutches without a hip brace in 2 months and started physical therapy at the 3rd month for my left hip. Dr Dold took the time to reassure me in plain english that he was going to take care of my pain management needs and physical therapy. I recommend his Frisco office, nurses and staff 100%!!!

Recently, I experienced what seemed like hip bursitis. Dr. Dold not only diagnosed it quickly and accurately, but he also took the time to explain everything clearly and address all my concerns. He promptly put a treatment plan in place, including physical therapy, that helped me get out of pain and provided the tools to prevent future flare-ups.Dr. Dold's expertise, combined with his genuine care and attentiveness, is truly remarkable. I had visited Dr Dold and team for a bad shoulder issue with a bicep tear. His staff was very kind and Dr Dold was amazing. August will be a year and my shoulder is feeling better then 100% thank you for giving me my active life back.

Dr. Dold is an exceptional and detail oriented surgeon that always does everything to achieve the best possible outcome for his patients. I'm a RN working in the OR and often see Dr. Dold as well as many other surgeons operating. I've chosen him to do both my own hip surgery and a complicated shoulder surgery as well as several joint injections. Both surgeries had excellent outcome and faster recoveries than expected. I would recommend him to any active person and athlete with high expectations to be able to return to their active life and sports.

I have worked with 6 different hip doctors in DFW over the past 2 years, dealing with Torn Labrum in each hip. My first procedure was not done by Dr. Dold- I was unable to walk without crutches/pain for almost 6 months post-op. I was scared to have another procedure, however Dr Dold repaired my Right Hip 3 weeks ago and I am amazed at how well the procedure went! Less pain, less stress and I am very close to being able to walk without crutches! So much better than my first experience!Dr. Dold and his team run a flawless operation and THEY CARE. All team members are attentive/diligent, each visit is quick with almost no time waiting. All hip doctors should attempt to mirror Dr. Dold’s procedures and services. He is THE BEST. Huge thank you to Dr. Dold and the team. I cannot explain how much you have positively impacted my life.

I had a pretty nasty displaced radius fracture and Dr. Dold had me patched up and back to my normal life much faster than I expected. The scar from the surgery is tiny and I expect it to be barely visible as it fades. Everyone is very friendly and supportive.

A year ago, while playing ultimate frisbee, I ruptured my achilles. The first doctor I saw said surgery was necessary & wanted to squeeze me into his schedule because it'd be easier for him (his words). I spoke with the second doctor's nurse over the phone, who told me she'd also want to do surgery. Only wanting to go that route as a last resort - not right out of the gates - I saw Dr. Dold as my third opinion. Happily, he was very open to a conservative approach to treatment & I began PT with his office. I'm happy to say that, a year later, I was able to return to the sport I love & compete at nationals last month. This is, I think, a testament to his care & that of this PT staff. Having had follow ups with him for the past year, I have to say I really value his medical integrity and cannot recommend him enough if you ever need an ortho doc. He's awesome and will do what's best for you.

I can’t thank Dr Dold enough. After my labrum surgery in Aug 2022 preformed by another Dr in the area…my pain was worse 6 mo post surgery then it was before …and at 45 years old I was told a full hip replacement was my next option. Feeling helpless and coming to the realization that my active lifestyle was coming to an end, depression started setting in. I sought out Dr Dold for a second opinion…Instead of taking the easy route and getting another surgery in the books … he suggested 3 rounds of PRP followed by a referral to a chiropractor (Dr Blake Wu - The Sports POD)… 4 months later Im back to nearly 100% and enjoying life again. I’m playing pickup Basketball, softball and golf on the weekends. It’s been a long journey but don’t make the same mistake I did … call Dr Dold first!

Our family has known Dr. Dold and his staff for well over 10 years and he is the only Orthopedic Surgeon we trust with our ailments. Recommended by people I know and trust, I visited Dr Dold to diagnose pain in my right hip that was becoming progressively worse and negatively impacting my active lifestyle and normal activities. Dr Dold informed me that I had osteoarthritis. After a transparent and informative discussion, I decided to move ahead with total right hip replacement. I have no regrets and am 100% satisfied with the entire process of Dr Dold and his fantastic team of quality professionals. I worked hard on my PT and continue to do exercises to improve strength and flexibility so that I achieve and maintain the full benefit of the hip replacement procedure. I'm 8 months out from surgery and feel fantastic! I'm in my 60's and this procedure will allow me to continue to be active and live without the pain I was experiencing before my surgery.
