In my experience, Dr Dailey is the best in his field. I went to him with terrible pain due to scoliosis from childhood. Before he would consider surgery, he covered all of the steps to make sure that there wasn't anything else that would work instead. This took some time and a lot of tests. I had a double major curve that measured at 61 degrees from T3 to T12 and 65 degrees from T12 to L4. When noting else worked, I scheduled the surgery which was pretty major, and was completed in two separate surgeries. Dr Dailey was honest with me on what I could expect, so when I had the surgery I felt totally confident in his skills and abilities. Right now I am only 5 months out but have never regretted getting it done. The care that he took and his excellent surgical skills were amazing. My pain is minimal if I don't over do it. I would highly recommend him at any time.

In my Humble opinion DR. Dailey is by far one of the best in his field. The man was able to put my T9-T10 fracture dislocation back together and save my life along with allowing me to make a near 100% complete recovery! If it wasn't for him I would be unable to walk and possibly dead. He performed my surgery, and I've had great success because of him. 100% recommended from me. Personally I feel he's within the top 3 best neuro surgeons in the U.S.! Thanks so much DR. Dailey Surgery date: 3/04/00

Beware of being the imperfect patient. I mistakenly put the wrong date of my appointment into my electronic calendar and missed one appointment. He now refuses to see me anymore. Surprising since this is the only time I have missed an appointment with him or any U of U doctor. Not very compassionate from my standpoint and very unprofessional.
