I have seen Dr. Chambers and his PA Megan. I have no issues at all with them. Both are nice and friendly, and both are concerned about your problems. The issue I have is the office. I was trying to get a schedule from them for rehab, but I never got a call. I had another appointment, of which I told the doctor I hadn't gotten anything from the rehab. The doctor and I went to the front office, and he asked what was going on regarding the rehab. They were all surprised and said they should have called and I should have gotten a phone call on this particular date. The doctor said to give the rehab the information again. The rehab place did call me. I was like, well, the rehab place didn't call me because they didn't get any information from the office. Nothing was sent from them, that is why. So, I had another appointment, and during that appointment, we discussed getting an MRI of my shoulder. I am still waiting for a phone call regarding the MRI or an appointment to get the imaging. So this is another failed sending out information that other offices need from this office. I liked the Doctor and the PA, but I shouldn't have to call the office every time to see what was going on. I am not an employee; I am a patient. Also, when I was trying to get an appointment to see the doctor, the lady who did that said that this was the only time and date for him, and it was early in the morning, and I preferred mid-morning or early afternoon. There must be times and dates other than the time given, so from the last doctor appointment to now, I have not heard anything from an MRI appointment. So now I have to get another ortho and start all over. of which I am still in pain while the office ladies are not in pain and are working. I wish that they would know of the pain that I am in. I am not joking about it. So, I canceled all my appointments. When I called and did that, the lady said, " Hold on, hold on, let me transfer you. I was like no, just cancel.

Awesome
Dr Chambers replaced my knee using the robot. The replacement works great, much stronger than the preop. He is a terrific doc. Takes great pains to listen to his patients. Explains everything well. His office staff are allstars especially his PA Megan. His technical skills are the best in the business. His use of the robot and custom fitting each implant using CT guided mapping of your joint is state of the art. If you want a surgeon who is at the top of his profession and amazing VIP service, go visit Dr Chambers.

Total hip replacement (right) side. Am pain free within a few weeks of the surgery. This was my 3rd surgery with Dr. Chambers. He replaced my left hip and knee. Went back to him because I feel great trust in him to do the best he can for my problems. The support staff is very helpful and friendly.

Terrible!!!! I wish I could give you a zero rating! I had a total knee replacement and kept telling him there was something wrong. I was in constant pain and he told me people my age say that to get more pain meds. 6 months after the surgery I couldn’t bend my knee without screaming. He looked at the X-ray and said my femur was broken and the implant had FAILED!! He said he didn’t realize how bad my osteoporosis was so that is why the implant failed. He didn’t put in a long enough stem. I had to have it done again and it still isn’t right. He called my husband and asked him to talk me out of suing him. I should have. I told the PA at my last appointment that it still hurts ALL the time. She blew me off and basically kicked me out of the office. I have to have the surgery again.

Very angry patient – Sep 11, 2021

Had full hip replacement. This guy did not care how badly it was done. One leg is now 3/4 of an inch longer than the other and his caused all sorts of problems in my back. He cared so little he didn’t even measure how bad it was off!His greatest concern was the score I might give him on a survey.

Dr Chambers had to do a surgery (total hip revision) on me during this pandemic. He was so accommodating! He had me do all tests necessary and got me scheduled in record time. Hip was a disaster and he fixed it. I left the hospital, walking on my own, two days after surgery. Very pleased

Dr. Chambers agreed to fix my knee replacement that another doctor did. The previous knee replacement had loosened and I could not walk. Dr. Chambers explained things to me and I felt comfortable having him do my surgery. I am now doing very well now and I would recommend Dr. Chambers to any of my friends or family.

I am beyond shocked at the 5 star ratings and for those of you who had such an amazing experience I wish I could say the same for my relative. Dr. Chambers has showed no empathy, sympathy for my mom. He has been pretty much nonexistent and out of touch with her care and progress. She has endured the most horrible experience with him and his staff. I've never seen such disregard for another person pain and suffering. I just hope my mom recovers physically and emotionally from this horrible ordeal. Shame on you!

Dr. Chambers is a referral from my PCD. He did hip replacement surgery for me Oct, 2019. Upon meeting him the first time I discerend in my spirit we were a good match. I needed a hip replacement and he impressed me that he could fix me! And he did!! On the morning of the surgery he came in and talked with me about the procedure and I felt very relaxed with him. Also we talked Bible scriptures then he put his (AC) mark on my hip and left the room. He and his team preformed a successful surgery and today April 2020 my hip is fine. I've called him or his office with questions on several occasions and their response has always been prompt. I live in Colorado now and will need to get my right hip replaced out here. If I was still in Desoto, TX Dr. Chambers and his Team would be the one's to fix my right hip. Thanks Dr. Chambers for leading your team with a heart of integrity and skillful hands in your profession .

Dr. Maceo Smith, Colorado Springs, CO. – Apr 08, 2020
×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. Chambers?
Dr. Chambers replaced both my hips, 2.5 months apart, using a posterior-lateral (P-L) approach. The second time around, I had a same day discharge. X-ray showed near mirror-image results. Dr. C has a calm demeanor and a ready smile. He has done over 500 hip replacements. When I asked him why he prefers the P-L approach, he said because it gives him more options if something goes awry. Comparing my recovery with a friend who had an anterior approach, my recovery, if anything was faster. Dr. C. has an excellent PA, Bryan, who sometimes sees patients on routine matters. Bryan saw me once post-op, and communicated his delight to see my progress. My one criticism, which Dr. C. has heard, is that patient communications with the office is slow sometimes, although it has improved. Dr. C responded that he is planning to get an app where if you leave a voice mail, it converts to text which he will be able to see.

My PCP sent me to Dr. Chambers for a suspicious lump. I left messages at their appt. desk and they never return my call. They either don’t care about patients or are not taking new ones, in which case they should have the courtesy to leave in their message.

My knee is still broken. I believe my case was exceptionally unique. With my hEDS and prior surgeries being very much a part of my newly broken patella. Methodist should have allowed me to go to a highly trained and experienced trauma surgeon, with lots of good background history in similar cases, and with hEDS training. They would not.

I am a 63-year-old male and have been active and athletic my whole life. Dr. Chambers performed a partial knee replacement using the Mako-robotic arm. Dr. Chambers is professional, kind and exceedingly competent. With the exception of some swelling, I have had no problems and almost no pain associated with the procedure. I was back at work in less than four weeks (I'm a neuro-ICU nurse and on my feet 12 hours at a time). It is a relief to be pain-free and look forward to hiking and backpacking
