The Dr. isn't the problem....
Dr. Brown is an excellent opthalmologist. I've had cataract surgery with him and he monitors my glaucoma. Very thorough eye exams. My only issue is the wait time, which can be up to 2 hours, and sometimes it's impossible to park in the lot.

Office Manager is a “B!”
Dr. Andrew Brown is a great doctor, although lately he seems tired of all the complaints about Liz, the office manager. She happens to be extremely rude, obnoxious, & is on a power trip because all the Browns seem to support her and keep her as office manager. The horrible experience with Liz,who basically threw me out of the office because I “didn't have an appointment”, had me in tears. And Robert Brown allowed it. I just had to speak to someone about an RX approval. Nelson, Mariana, Kimberly & Joanne are very nice The young girl in the front is also very sweet. The rest of the staff aren’t as friendly. They’re are just there to do their jobs ,but no effort to be nice. After 15 yrs, I’m sad that I had to leave his office bc of Liz’s rudeness and unpleasant behavior. They keep her because they can’t find anyone else? I”m sure there are better people who Brown’s office can hire. But I guess they don’t care about staff’s attitude and bad reviews.

5 stars for Dr. A. Brown. 0 for the office manager
Dr. Andrew Brown is the best ophthalmologist we have had over the years. However, we have had very negative experiences with the office manager. I recently visited Dr. Andrew Brown's office and he was outstanding, as usual. The experience with him couldn't have been better. His assistants are excellent all around. Unfortunately, the person in charge of the office has an overly disrespectful and rude attitude towards patients. In addition, she does not take the time to listen to patients’ concerns or answer questions. I hope that this review, along with others I have seen posted by other patients, is taken seriously and leads to correct the problem.

Love my experience with Dr. Brown. The office staff on the other hand is horrible. (Rude and obnoxious) The wait time is the longest of any HCP that I see..usually aabout 90+ minutes.

I had an Excellent Experience with Dr. Andrew Brown! He did my 2 Cataract Surgeries in my eyes, back in January 2016, and no problems! 20/20 no glasses, and see Wonderful! Every time I called with different problems he called back! Also Staff helped me with reducing my Medication cost with getting my Med Tier lowered with Part D Medicare, otherwise my Medication would cost me over $676.00 for 3 Bottles! I found the Office Staff very Helpful!

Liz the office manager is the nastiest, vulgar, uneducated disgraceful thing you can find. She shout over the phone instead of explaining my bill, did not allow me to talk staying, "I don't have time to listen". Wrong poor choice of profession. I still don't understand how this thing of repugnant manager still works at this office. Mine is not the first negative review , I am sure they hare loosing patients to the vulgarity of this manager, and now I understand the poor personal retention at the front desk, a new face every time. I guess she treats everyone the same. After many years I will not come back to Dr. Brown's office.

My daughter has been a patient of Dr. brown for a few years. Every year it’s a 2 hour wait from the appointment time. Today- I had an appointment that I scheduled many months ago. I was stuck in traffic and was 23 minutes late (8 minutes beyond the grace period). The staff (Fay in particular) was extremely rude. No interpersonal skills and very unprofessional. Told me I’m late so can’t be seen. I asked to speak with the doctor to see if there’s any thing to be done. She wouldn’t even try. Extremely rude, unprofessional and insulting especially at these hard times. Dr brown on the other hand was always a pleasure and was always so nice and funny. It’s really a shame that his back office is so poorly managed.

Very poor customer service from staff. Waiting 3 days to receive corrected prescription so I can buy new glasses. Dr's error in not including progressive lens information and staff not fulfilling my request for corrected prescription that I have to pick up in their office. My husband and I have been patients for years. Very disappointing to receive obnoxious fresh mouth from front desk!!!!

I have been a patient of Dr. Brown for several years. I have found him to be thorough and very patient. He always takes the time to explain conditions. In October 2017 he did cataract surgery on both eyes. It was a game changer for me. No glasses! I highly recommend Dr. Andrew Brown.

Brown eye care associates support staff is piss poor. You will ALWAYS be seen at least 2 1/2 hours after you scheduled appointment time. The reason is always unknown as you'll be sitting in a waiting room with maybe 1 other patient, wondering what's taking so long. I will never be back to this poorly ran office. Not to mention the same mediocre staff that can't do anything right is extremely rude as if the patient did something wrong to them. DISGUSTED! Avoid at all costs!

There are several Dr Brown's at this office and they are all wonderful! I have seen them on a number of occasions. However, what makes them stand out from the rest is when my daughter was in need of care on a Sunday, when the office was closed, Dr Brown called me right back and told me exactly what to do & literally saved me a trip to the ER! He is a great eye Dr and a caring person! My family and I will never go to anyone else! I highly recommend him and all the Doctors in this practice!
