Dr. Bowman accurately diagnosed a condition missed by 2 other cardiologists. He went out of his way to call me after hours to provide reassurance. His assistant Navi is also very conscientious and followed through with scheduling appointments. I would highly recommend Dr. Bowman!! He is an excellent cardiologist!

Lousy rude doctor and a bad listener
Dr Bowman needs to go to a school that teaches one to interact with others with respect and human decency among other interpersonal skills Dr bowlman did not listen to me at all and did not answer my questions, and instead, repeatedly stated how things ought to be. Aside from this being rude, it was very repetitive, it was boring, he offered no insight He stinks when scheduling the follow up, I said anybody but him,,

Worst communicator
Dr Bowman asked my husband go do a nuclear stress test. We repeatedly called for results over the next several weeks leaving messages with no response. Then received a letter saying it was urgent we call and that they had not been able to get a hold of my husband! We continue to call the office leaving messages etc with no response. Then they finally do call back and they said Dr bowman says since he cant get a hold of you to make another appointment. Just ridiculous and moving forward with him would obviously be detrimental to my husband’s health. We still don't know whats wrong. Will be looking for a new doctor.

My experience with Dr. Bowman
I have not experienced any of the situations that the negative reviews give. I find Dr. Bowman thorough, professional, and very kind. His explanations are clear and show his concern. He personally called me with a test result and said he wanted to see me in the office the next day. I am very pleased with his care.

I was thoroughly unimpressed with this doctor who seemed to be in a hurry, was hesitant to offer explanations, and answered, "I don't know." to many of the questions about which he should have had some knowledge. I know nothing about his surgical skills (He may be excellent.) but would not recommend him as a consulting physician.

Dr Bowman is one of the most arrogant physicians I have ever met. He not only told me I was wrong about my symptoms but basically I didn’t know my own body. I’m not surprised at the numerous low ratings for him all saying the same thing. I decided I would go home and take my chances with my heart than dealing with him. Sad excuse for a physician.

I wanted to say Dr. Bowman is one of the best Dr. I have had in years. He personally called me about my test twice, when I had my stent he came to the hospital to see how I was, and to let me know how it went. He reminds me of the Drs. I had when I was little, they are definitely for there patients. Thank You Dr. Bowman for being an awesome Dr. Sincerely, Elaine Famiano

Dr. Bowman is a poor listener and showed extreme disrespect to me as a patient. He accused me, and the nursing staff, of not following his instructions. He is argumentative and very intimidating. He seems to be unhappy and unfriendly. I only had experience with him on two urgent emergency room situations, both resulting in hospitalization. His expertise with patients is very poorly executed.

This was the worst experience I have ever encountered with a physician. He made the office visit feel like an interrogation, and was not interested in listening to the patient's issues. He was completely unsympathetic to the pateint's state of health, and kept the visit as brief as possible. He was not approachable or easy to talk to. Also, if you mentioned an issue that was not direclty associated to the heart, he would just state that it was not his issue. I left that office feeling worse
