Dr. Bernstein is always very professional and helpful. He gave me scripts for my yearly mammogram with ultrasound.

Doctor is so amazing and his staff is so great. Doctor Bernstein is such a wonderful guy he listens to what you have to say. The cancer staff is so amazing they help you get through your chemotherapy. So glad I chose to go with him for my chemo

No rush, answered all my questions...

My father has seen Doctor Bernstein a number of times. He wanted to see my Dad every 4 to 6 weeks - which we thought was a lot, but didn't debate. Then my father ended up in the hospital, for something unrelated but they also identified additional cancer, and we have been ghosted. I'd say I've made 15-20 attempts to reach him - calls and asking other doctors and nurses at hospital where he does rounds. When I reach staff they apologize and say he will call that day, and then he doesn't. It's been 5 months. Nothing. We simply had to find another practice, but it took forever to realize he truly was never going to contact us again. I can't think of any realistic reason why this would happen.I'd love to simply blame the staff but there was another time it took him days to call back with tests and when I complained he was very short with me, so it does seem to be a pattern with him.

He refused to discuss the results of my mother's biopsy despite her being bedridden. Obviously placed being able to bill for an office visit above patient well-being.

Dr. Berstein is great! My husband has cancer and he always answers all my questions, no matter what. Office staff is great! I recommend him to everyone

Dr Bernstein treating my mom with utmost respect and compassion. Answers all questions put forth. The girls at front desk Lisa and Rachel are pleasant and knowledgeable makes this an easier process. Lori PA so very helpful to solve a problem quickly and listen.

Saw Dr Bernstein for a consultation on a new medication i am starting for my MS. i cannot say enough kind words about him. I asked him if I could record our meeting because my retention is not the greatest and he was more than accommodating. He spent so much time with me explaining things and the process that I was more than comfortable starting my new therapy. I would definitely recommend this doctor.

There are no words to express what a kind, caring - take the time with patients that Dr. Bernstein is. From day one of my husbands cancer we saw God's hand in bringing him into our journey. Not only did he take the time needed to explain each step of the way but he took the time to listen. He felt like an old family friend. Seriously I can only jumble up words with the gratitude towards this man but he was a true blessing during an incredible journey

Takes the needed time to explain all. Seems to know what he is doing and care about it also. I would definitely recommend him and have and am taking my mother there also.

We brought my son to the ER because he was having difficulty breathing. His blood work revealed that he really had an aggressive form of leukemia. As soon as the results of the bone marrow biopsy came back, Dr. Bernstein had him immediately transferred to Hackensack. He explained that the leukemia program at Hackensack was one of the best in the US. Because of this, my son was successfully treated by the great team of physicians at Hackensack and has now been in remission since 2014!
