Dr. Andreanne Gingras, MD

I have been a patient of Dr. Gingras for 7 years now. She hears my concerns and listens to understand, she takes my insights and opinions into consideration when providing my treatment, and even when there have been office issues, she has been incredibly supportive and actively works to mitigate issues a patient may experience. When there have been outside sources needing records or forms filled out, she has contacted me expeditiously and completed anything required in a quick and effective manner. She is hands down the greatest psychiatrist I have ever been so blessed to work with in my 20 years of dealing with mental illness. THANK YOU DR. GINGRAS!

I have a firm agreement with her that I am always honest. She trusts my honesty, and we negotiate medical changes so that it is not a one person decision. I rarely need an emergency visit, but she has accommodated them when I’ve needed them. The biggest thing I can say is that I feel hurt, she listens carefully to what I say and that makes the whole relationship wonderful.

Awful, Awful, Awful. Said she couldn't help me and that I was narcissistic and I interupt people when they talk. I have severe anxiety which this sent me through the roof requiring me to receive EMDR from my therapist. Should not be allowed to practice pyschiatry period. I found a great pyschiatrist in VA Beach who is kind and experienced. Stay far far far far far away.

Great psychiatrist and therapist-- very supportive and helpful. Scheduling is difficult but worth it.
