Not invested in patient care
Dr Rizzo was my pcp for 3 years and the annual visits were very routine basic questions. I didn't think much of it since I didn't have any specific health concerns. But recently I developed debilitating issues for a condition that ir very prevalent these days that she and her NP could not diagnose. They kept gaslighting me saying I have anxiety pushing anxiety and depression medication. Dr Rizzo finally told me very rudely that she didn't have anything more to offer showing a total disregard for her duty of care. I then found a new PCP who quickly diagnosed the problem, prescribed medication to improve my quality of life and established a long term plan of care. Based on my experience with her and the other reviews, Dr Rizzo does not seem invested in patient care and wants to do the minimum work required of her.

Great First Visit
It's impossible to find a PC in Boston, so I had to come out to Sudbury. Dr Rizzo is very comprehensive, and I can already tell she will be a great PC for me. We have to coordinate my health care with a few specialists, and I feel like she will be the right one foe the job. Very pleasant

Did not care
I came for a new patient visit. She asked me three questions and then asked if I had any medical issues I wanted to address. I said I had a few things I wanted to check but I did not know where to start. She immediately referred me to a different doctor (without explaining exactly why) and said that she does not deal with these types of issues (even though my questions were very generalized) and then left. I did not feel like she heard my concerns or even wanted to hear what I had to say. I did not come back to the practice as the experience left me feeling worse than when I came in.

Dr. Rizzo suggested to me that I go to an urgent care facility, in the midst of CoV-19, to seek treatment for moderate case of contact dermatitis rather than write a prescription for a reaction she could have diagnosed over the phone or via FaceTime. If you’re looking for a sensible and intelligent physician I have a suggestion for you: look elsewhere.

Dr Rizzo is a very caring physician. She is always prepared, and every time I have seen her she is 100% on top of any lab work, other doctor's visits, etc. Her office staff is also very well organized and professional. Dr Rizzo has gone out of her way to research things relating to my illness and to help me find some solutions. I

Dr. Rizzo has proven to be one of the most qualified physicians in the greater Boston area. I started seeing her roughly 10 years ago. I was very ill for several years and Dr. Rizzo always accommodated me and my limitations. I am very glad that she moved her office down the hall and took the staff with her. I’m so thankful to be a patient of hers.

Dr. Rizzo was my doctor for many years (I've since moved out of the state) and during that time I found her to be extremely helpful and supportive through a number of challenging health situation that lasted multiple years. She was the one who finally helped diagnose one of my issues, fibromyalgia. She was extremely patient and always willing to investigate new possibilities. I would recommend her to anyone who wants a caring, listening and open to new ideas physician.

Having Dr. Rizzo as my PCP for the last 6 years has lead me to write this review. I have found her to be cordial at best and quite unfriendly much of the time. She is never cheerful, seemingly overworked and in my judgment she is depressed. I give her a D- for bedside manner.

Was not helpful at all. Did not listen, and essentially treated me for something other than what I had. The nurses and staff were great, though.

Dr. Rizzo reminds me of my family doctor growing up. Kind , considerate and concerned about my well being. The staff is always upbeat and takes time to talk to you. I had been going to a big hospital clinic and there you were just a number and they never ever went that extra mile. So happy I moved to Sudbury and that Dr. Rizzo accepted me as a new patient.
