Dr. Andrea Miles, MD

I would not recommend Dr. Miles or her MA team. They often drop the ball with correspondences or important medical paperwork, and rather than admitting that, they lie about it. I have had blood drawn for labs only for the labs not to be done because when the lab called the office on the weekend, no one answered. Shouldn’t someone answer the on call number? I’ve had refill mishaps, and when addressing them with Dr. Miles, she’s responded with sarcasm. After finally addressing all the issues with Dr. Miles that have affected my care, she recommended that I transfer offices. There is no accountability when she or her team screws up. You deserve a physician you can trust and team up with and dialogue with about concerns regarding how your care is handled. Dr. Miles is not the one.

Myself & my Mother have been long time patients of Dr Miles but when we needed her help the most she treated us horribly.She fractured her back but it took multiple visits to the ER via ambulance to get them to give her a ct scan. She was given 12 pain pills & after 11 days my Mom was worse & pain meds didn’t really help. While we were still waiting on an available bed in a nursing facility we were told to call her primary dr (Miles) for another prescription for her pain. We called multiple times. They chose to call us back AFTER the dr left for a weeks vacation!! Only to tell us she had to be seen by the dr to get medicine!! My 91 yr old mom is completely immobile and has proof of the visits to the ER but dr miles chose to completely ignore my mom while she has been in the worst pain of her life. To make matters worse they didn’t even bother to offer an alternative such as referring us elsewhere. Please remember this When choosing a dr and skip this one.

My 87yr old dad had his 1st appoint on 1-12-18. He relocated from Cali, has emphysema & was on blood thinner. Dr. Miles wanted to know why he was on blood thinner. So we completed paperwork at the office, to have his previous medical records from two doctors in Cali sent to Dr. Miles. I called Dr Miles about a week later to follow up & was told their corporate office requests the records & its not in yet. One month later they tell me, they DO NOT have any such request in the file. APPALLED

Although Dr. Miles is affiliated with a 3-star hospital, she's a 5-star physician. She is very empathetic and actually listens to the patients concerns and/or issues. She's one of the very few remaining physicians who have great bedside manners, which is a skill that is dying fast among today's practicing physicians. She's also very endearing to her patients. I've never had an encounter with her where I left unsatisfied with the outcome and results. She has a true gift!

She is very thorough and knowledgable in various areas of medicine and will refer to a specialists if needed and always follows up in a very concerned professional manner. Excellent Doctor! Never rushes you and listens intently to all issues or concerns. She also has an excellent memory for details and takes great notes about her patients.
