She does go by the numbers but is open to listening to you. I don’t know if she gave me an answer to why my risk was lower. I always have questions after leaving a doctor visit and thinking about what we discussed. She does communicate well and is very kind.

Dr. Dellavalle reviewed all my issues and how treatment is going so far. She suggested ways to improve on treatment. She’s a great listener and a great problem solver.

This was my first visit with Dr DelaValle and she was wonderful. She took time to listen to me and most doctors normally don’t. They rush you in out. She is personable, caring, and compassionate.

Dr. Dellavalle literally saved my life. In an emergency room filled with male doctors who dismissed my symptoms, Dr. Dellavalle took the time to listen and get the full picture. Relatively young woman, active, great bloodwork, no family history, with no other risk factors - but she asked the right questions and believed me (other women will understand what this means in the medical community). She insisted on further tests, despite even more male experts dismissing the need. Turns out my LAD was 99% occluded! My follow up care with Dr. Dellavalle has been extraordinary. Her office is well-run with great support staff and nurses. I never wait in the waiting room, her appointments begin on time. But most importantly, at every appointment she takes the time to listen, asks great questions, is supportive, and has a wicked sense of humor! I could not ask for a better cardiologist!
