On Oct. 21, 2020 I came to Ochsner emergency room and later found out I had a bad Sepsis infection. I'm a kidney transplant recipient and the sepsis infection was attacking my transplanted kidney and started to fill my lungs with fluids. Well, Dr. Blome was quick to react and got everyone involved to save my life. I want thank Dr. Blome and her staff, Ochsner Rapid Response team, the Interventional Radiology doctor and his staff, Ochsner Transplant doctors and the Transplant Step-Down unit, the Respiratory team, and the hospital doctors and all those who took good care of me. I later found out that Dr. Blome was in the operating room at the time of my surgery. I thank God for watching over me and I believe Emergency Services physicians like Dr. Blome are angels too.
