Amazingly smart, Listens and doesn't judge!
I feel like my life is back on track! I cannot recommend her highly enough! Dr. Turner is a great psychiatrist. One of the best. She listened and made me feel heard. I have never felt like I was in a safer space for me to openly discuss my life than when I was meeting with her. I was actively involved in my own treatment when I talked to her, it was collaborative but I always trusted her on medication and serious matters of course. If you are seeking a psychiatrist who truly cares about patients, I whole-heartedly recommend!

Terrible Doctor
I was recently discharged from Royale. Dr. Turner wrote in paperwork that I had a problem with “alcoholism” and therefore I shouldn’t be off conservatorship. I never had a problem with alcohol, just marijuana. She also said I am unwillingly to accept help when I take the needed meds and bust my butt attending groups. She is a terrible doctor, none of the other patients liked her.

She was my son's psychiatrist at Royale. We've been through countless doctors at multiple hospitals and Dr. Turner was the only who's ever called me back. She spent a lot of time actually listening to me explain my son's past, and asked me questions about previous meds and about his past episodes. She started him on Clozaril which has saved his life.

Dr. Turner helped me get through a really difficult time in my life. I've struggled with anxiety for years and haven't wanted to be on meds, but my husband convinced me to go in for one appointment and I'm so grateful I did. She really listened to me and explained multiple different options but ultimately I felt comfortable going with her recommendation of meds and therapy. She also spent time talking about lifestyle modifications, and I feel healthier than I've ever felt!

The worst Psychiatrist I have even encountered. Horrible listener. Should probably stick with pediatric psychiatry, since most of them cant talk. She needs more teaching forsure. Stick with your residency you need it
