We are saddened by hearing that dr. Rusu is not going to continue working at the Palmer Ranch Intercoastal Medical Group. We will miss her integrity, knowleadge and high professionalism. There are at least 5 people that I know for our retirement facility that are her patients. We were all very, very pleased with her care. You had the impression that everything will be eventually well if you were treated by her. We wish her and her family well wherever her steps will take her. Have been using Dr Rusu (Rusu-Lenghel) for a number of years. She is a member of the Intercoastal Medical Group in Sarasota FL. At first she had plenty of time to review my medical history and carefully check things out. She gave conservative recommendations for followup both with medications and specialists. Of late she seems very rushed and reviews my history while she is talking with me during the brief time she seems to have for our encounter. Both my wife and I have had the same experience. The change seemingly is related to the number of patients that Intercoastal leadership is pushing thru the system rather than with the doctor. It could also be related to the Medicare press on costs and the need for groups like Intercoastal to turn significant profits.

Dr Rusu is FABULOUS! She cares, she listens...she acts. My wife just had major surgery...as soon as Dr Rusu entered her office, to see my wife...she gave her an extended hug! Then came up with a game plan for recovery. She consulted with a specialist within Intercoastal & attained immediate results. If you too want a Dr that cares...you too will be more then pleased!

If you only go in for a check up or physical she is OK BUT IF SHE HAS TO LISTEN TO SYMPTOMS SHE IS RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL

Dr. Rusu-Lenghel takes the appropriate amount of time on his consults, has a good personality, is very professional and a thoughtful doctor, who listens and who does not rush to medication. She makes good referrals to specialists. I'm very please to have D. Rusu as my primary care physician and I strongly recommend her.

I was seen by Dr Rusu, who is my internal medicine doctor. After waiting 30 to 45 mins in the waiting room then another 45 mins back in the exam room, she finally came in, decided due to the hour of the day,I needed to go to the emergency room as she said she can't treat me in the office. I ended up having a yeast infection, but it was pretty bad. She tried convinving me I had an STD, and needed extensive further testing in the ER. I will never recommend her to anyone.

I have found Dr. Rusu to be very competent, trustworthy and compassionate and I would highly recommend her to family and friends. In addition, her nurse always greets you with a smile and concern for the patient.
