Don't believe his answering machine; this busy doctor currently won't or can't listen to patients. The office and nursing staff are friendly and efficient and wait time minimal. Billing is confusing by phone and chaotic, however: our most recent bill came after seven months! Though Dr. Gupta seemed personable and informed, he only spoke about 30 seconds each time after his required endoscopy and colonoscopy. We received brief printed results. A month after these 'fact-finding' procedures, for maybe 2 minutes, we met while he looked at his computer. He stated that I'd been put on an antacid, told us to come back for an endoscopy in a year -- no reasons given, and left. A nurse confirmed my prescription; it has worked well. As of now we won't return since, according to his pamphlet, I don't need an endoscopy; going to Louisville requires 2 days of travel and a hotel-stay; no consultation occurred with the good doctor; and I felt like I was a cash cow for him.

Cero respect for patients time. I’ve been in this clinic 3 times with my parents. Each time with an appointment schedule. They don’t care about your appointment time. 2 of these times were Colonoscopy, my parents were without eating for more than 24 hours. Our appoinments both times were at 8:30 AM and they call us at 10:15 AM, after that It took another hour until the procedure. Doctor is not a nice person either. Definitely not coming back to his clinic.

Please, please go anywhere BUT here. Especially to the females out there. ANYWHERE but here.

Not good. Staff is very unfriendly. Everyone seems unhappy. Waited over an hour to literally spend about 5 minutes with the doctor. Had a colonoscopy there and then an upper GI. Colonoscopy was about 3 hours - a lot of waiting. For the upper GI, they said it would be quicker, maybe 90 minutes; was there about 3 hours again - a lot of waiting!! I will not go back.

Same as rest. May be a good doctor but billing headaches and stress way offset and get you in the end. 100% covered procedure ended up with a $40k bill and sent to collections. They didn’t credit my account for what I paid even after proof. This took two years of countless frustrating phone calls and letters to resolve.

If I could give no stars, I would! Barely saw Dr. Gupta before procedure. At least I think that is who he was. Already had mouth guard in and was turned away from the doorway, where this person stood. He never spoke to me at all. Charged for an office visit that I never had. CHARGES EXCESSIVE AMOUNTS!!!! Not a doctor I would recommend to anyone.

Horrible! Do not go to this doctor for any procedures! They do procedures at a facility they own that is NOT in-network with your insurance company, even though the doctor is in-network so you end up with outrageous bills!

Dr. Gupta always refers people to Paramount Surgery Center. Beware, your insurance will not pay for Paramount (we have Humana). We were originally billed $16,000! What should have been 100% covered by my insurance is now costing $920.00. My insurance told me not to pay!!!

My husband went to see Dr. Gupta Jan 2019. When we walked in my husband asked the woman at the desk if the ins covers the procedure. She said yes. She had the paperwork right in front of her. She total lied. They had just called Humana the day before and they knew it would not be covered, but they did not bother to let us know. Guess what the ins did not cover where Dr. Gupta does his procedures. They billed me for 33,000.00. After talking to them they reduced it down to 1,645.00. They said that would be the in network cost. If it were in network I would not have to pay for it. so now I have to pay Dr. Gupta 1,645.00 because they are not honest people. RUN DONT WALK YOU COULD BE SCREWED

be sure to check with your insurance regarding Paramount Surgery Center being in or out of network. Buyer beware bc they know in advance, but won't tell you. My 100% covered procedure is now very costly. Also, they sent a separate bill for an office construction on something I never even talked about or even have! I'll never recommend this office now.

I had a good experience

Staff is soooo sweet. Dr Andy is great and funny.

o anywhere else. While nursing staff was pleasant, we showed up for 1st morning appointment and still waited over an hour. Much worse, Dr. Gupta's communication and bedside manner was arrogant and awful. While my wife was just beginning to wake from anesthesia, Gupta was trying to sell her another procedure. Also insurance company denied payment saying his license was suspended since June 2015. Also his initial charge was $16,000. He then sent an additional bill for $500, for "consultation". I asked about this and was told that was the cost for the nurse "taking my medical history", and Gupta "reviewing it".

I never leave a doctor's office in tears after receiving good news. After waiting over an hour, I dared to complain. As a result, I was fat-shamed and told that I was old enough (65) to know things aren't always perfect. It seems the good doctor was performing a scoping procedure during my appointment time. I was told there is nothing he can do to improve my uncomfortable medical condition. After informing the doctor that I would never return to his office, he said, "now that's good news."

Very pleasant staff! In and out of there in what seemed like minutes! No side effects from from the medicine

A stellar experience thanks to everyone from staff to Dr. Gupta. I went in for a procedure requiring sedation, and they made me feel welcome from start to finish. The anesthesiologist and Dr. Gupta explained the procedure and showed great bedside manner and care. I recommend them heartily!

On my first two visits to the office I found the staff to be extremely friendly and kind. However my experience with Dr. Gupta was subpar. Today I went for hemorrhoid banding. Dr. Gupta came into the room yelling at me to get on my side. (He could be heard in the waiting room. ). He did not explain the procedure, but he continued barking orders. He then proceeded to push me on the bed. After sharing my frustration I left the office and plan not to return.

Very professional and personable, from the staff to the doctor. They made everything seem easy and made me feel very comfortable. See you in three years, doc!
