Dr. Ana Luina Estrada, MD

She seemed annoyed w any of my questions, & also when she answered. Some issues I brought up she just say, yeah, pregnancy is hard, nothing else. I had a neuroma in my foot, I now think I should have just gone to my PCP for it, but she could have suggested that or.... treat it? When I delivered my 1st, I was pushing for 30 minutes with the nurse. When baby was getting close, Dr Estrada came, the nurse nicely asked her what she thought. She very rudely said, 'well first of all, your never gonna deliver this baby if you push with your elbows on the bed.' Pretty demoralizing. I had no idea what I was supposed to do! She always seemed very cold & barely educated me on anything. She never told me the plan just, surprise, your getting labs today. Once the nurse directed me to remove my bottoms, sit on table and drape w sheet. Dr did a swab but didn't tell what it was for. I asked and she acted like it was so weird I wanted to know. When I did push correctly, she cheered me on so supportively

I have been a patient of Dr. Estrada's for over 4 years. She was my doctor for my third pregnancy. Our appointments were quick and to the point. Her direct approach to providing transparent information eased any concerns I had from 'googling' my symptoms. She would provide information that reduced concerns about the what ifs. Her demeanor is professional and it is apparent that she is an expert in her field. Dr. Estrada is very objective and direct. This may not fit everyone's personality, but for me, I need direct and brief communication when it comes to medical topics. Additionally, her nurses and office staff are just wonderful!!!

Dr. Estrada has got to be one of the most unprofessional and rude doctors I’ve ever very come across. She expected me to know the answers I went into see her for. Basically laughed at my symptoms that have me very concerned. WALK THE OTHER WAY!

I recently gave birth at The Birth Place and have seen Estrada for the last half of my prenatal care visits. Absolutely incredible doctor. Despite being busy, she sat down at every appointment and answered any and all questions. She was on call when my water broke and I’ve never felt like I could be in better hands. Very thorough and comforting presence. She checked on me and baby after the birth as well! The entire experience was great.

Dr. Estrada delivered my baby at 13.5 weeks in the ER at Olathe Medical Center (she was on call for my doctor). We cried together and I know she truly cared. Needless to say I have switched to Dr. Estrada for my OB needs and I’m currently 19 W and 4 Days preggo :)

This whole office is awful and really don't care or listen to their patients. Avoid at all cost! There are so many other quality providers in the area.

Dr. Estrada was excellent. She delivered both of my daughters into this world safely, even though my wife Experienced preeclampsia. Yes, it was difficult. Bringing children into this world is difficult and risky. My first born, Bethany, is now in her first year of college and my youngest, April, is in the 10th grade at ACJSHS, Garnett, KS. I do not understand the negative reviews on this page.

This doctor expects you to come here with a medical degree and know all the answers. Her complete disregard of patients well being amaze me. She lies to your face when she does something wrong. Thank to her mistakes I ended up in ER and paying thousands of dollars on medical bills. My bests advice is to stay away from her. Her nurses and facilities are the only good thing about her whole practice.

I was asked if I googled my symptoms prior to my visit. I heard the nurse and Dr. Estrada talking unprofessionally outside the office about my symptoms and my objective for my visit. I had to ask her to do an exam. She performed a less in depth exam than my PCP. I went back to my PCP who was not pleased with the result of my visit and ordered an ultra sound. The results showed that my birth control was not effective and I needed additional medical treatment from an OBGYN.

Dr. Estrada delivered all 3 of my boys via c-section. After the birth of my first, I had an enormous amount of trust for her. Initially, I wouldn't characterize her as warm and fuzzy. She takes the time with each patient to answer questions while being very efficient. After a third challenging pregnancy and the fear of entering the OR again, Estrada showed us a very compassionate and warm side. I wouldn't consider any other doctor.
