She was kind and personable. Answered everything appropriately. She also was also able to help perform my kidney biopsy, explained the results in a way that I could understand. She is attentive to my concerns with starting new medication.

Poor biopsy
Prior to the procedure, Dr. Yau was very personable and kind, however, she did kidney biopsy that not only produced a poor kidney sample but went too deep creating havoc, excessive bleeding and an extensive hospital stay. I know there is risk with a biopsy. However, she will never touch me or anyone I care about again. Once she started, and completed the biopsy I knew something was wrong. Instead of talking to me and explaining things went wrong, she shutdown on our communication, spoke of excessive bleeding and started looking at baby pictures of a colleague's new born. Yes this is in procedure room. Meanwhile I'm face down wondering why a 2nd sample is nixed ( two samples were suppose to be taken) and extreme pressure is being applied. I did see her again following the procedure. She still evaded the obvious problem and minimized the consequences created by her execution of skills. I spent early Wednesday morning to late Friday night in the hospital because of her.
