Mixed feelings.
I will start by saying that she was very polite, but my experience was very frustrating and has pushed me to seek a second opinion. The appointment was set up mostly because my other doctors wanted me to get a neurological exam and hopefully an MRI of my brain to check for damage to my nervous system. The appointment was going okay at first, but I started having red flags go off when she started probing about my mental health, which is unrelated to what I was seeing her for. In the end she agreed that my brain and my body have trouble communicating to each other, but instead of ordering further testing to see if there's physical damage, she decided that my previous diagnoses of depression and anxiety, which are currently under control and treated, were responsible for my decline in mobility. Her conclusion is contradictory to the findings of my other doctors and gets in the way of them getting me help. I suggest not disclosing your mental health or seeking an opinion elsewhere.

Cannot keep an appointment
I've been referred to this clinic, but Amy Ferng has been unable to keep an appointment over the last 5 months. I decided to cancel and go elsewhere. I've yet to have a positive experience with UofM hospitals or clinics.
