Dr. Amy Bohan, MD

My son and I were a patients of Dr Bohan's for fifteen years (after Dr Creasman retired)until my son moved and I retired - her office told me my insurance w as not accepted. In 2004, Dr. Bohan saved my life. My GP told me I was just getting old when I complained of being exhausted. She said there is more to my complaints, called my insurance so she was able to request more detailed tests which were then approved. I was diagnosed with cancer and quickly scheduled for a partial lung resection. My family and I are deeply appreciative of her caring and professional knowledge. Because of her, I saw my 3 children get married and experience the birth of three grandchildren

Sadly, I did not get to see Dr. Bohan as scheduled. My lung function tests were completed immediately upon my timely arrival. I then waited more than an hour. I checked after 30 minutes and was told I was 'next to be seen'. I waited another 40 minutes and left. I am expecting a call with my test results but have not received it.

Dr. Bohan went well above my expectations in every respect - friendly, personable, patient. She took quite a bit of time explaining why she was asking the questions that she was, how she was interpreting the tests we did, and what all the possibilities would look like. I felt like educated and cared for. Thank you!

Dr. Bohan does not rush you through your appointments and takes time to explain everything and answer any questions you may have. She is very caring and I would recommend her to anyone. I am so glad my primary care physician referred me to her.
